You where SOOoooooo GOOD tbh. You shoul keep pushing your music! Its still SOOooo Good! Soooo much "reality" in this documentary. Its not THAT glamorous, you know.... ita alot of just alone time and trashing with friends....

Still one of the greatest albums most people have never heard. It was a necessary addition to the musical landscape at the time. So unique. So good.

I am STILL listening to Year or The Spider STRAIGHT through. One of my all time favorie bands & on of my all time favorite albums. YOTS, i think, is Cold at their absolute best. You can hear their sound transitioning through their first 3 albums & it ALL coming together. I really like A Different Kind of Pain as well & unfortunately have to admit I lost track of them for a while now n need to catch up; still though, this album was/is special.

I was the guy who introduced Dan to my now late great friend, Paul Hamann, and set up a tour of Suma for Dan. I wanted Dan to see a real recording studio where you could actually "cut a record", i.e, Neumann disc cutting lathe on the premises so he could understand the origin of the phrase. Paul was also my sound engineer for my show, REVOLVER...AN ECHO OF THE DREAM. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mMpdiK6Ynr7Lhnk.html Paul recorded my show's promo tape live at Suma. One take for each song. The 1176LN Classic Limiting Amplifier in the opening and @ 4.33 was on loan to Paul from me among other gear that I let Paul use when not being used for REVOLVER. The guitars you see @ 0.33 include my mint 1954 Gretsch 6129 Sparkle Jet and my mint 1964 Hofner Beatle bass...not reissues. I let Patric use my drum tea towels for his drum kit. I lent Dan a van load of some of my most precious vintage gear for those sessions...for free. Paul, at that time, was being consumed by cancer but few knew. I designed and installed the last acoustic treatment for the control room with some help from Paul. Every morning, I still toast Paul with my first cup of coffee. Never missed a day. I miss him that much.

Bill is such a star wars geek, I love it. And the fact that the band's name came from Star Wars (boba fetts emblem tattoo on Bill which lokks like a mastodon's skull) is so fucking cool.
