I do love the Fairbourne, I first travelled on it behind "Beddgelert". Also when saying the number 0 in a wheel arrangement, I'd recommend saying "Oh" instead as its a lot quicker, like a lot of adverts that tell you the phone number.

@@SteamLance I was thinking I must find out about when different locos were running. Especially as I have a free trip, for having gift aided. Thanks re the "oh"... useful info

@@LakeLocos I know Beddgelert is currently under overhaul and they're looking for donations. Its certainly the most good looking loco on the line, but that's just my personal preference

The locos built by Kerr Stuart were also built in Stoke-on-trent. I was born about half a mile from their works. It was pronounced like 'cur'..... not Keir as in Prime Minister!

@@knottyal2428 thank you, I added as much info as I could between images. Re the pronunciation... thank you again... the media must've gotten to me. I thought I was saying Kerr but apparently I didn't 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I would definitely suggest leaving a slight gap between the rail joints to allow for heat expansion. Also perhaps use some G45 fishplates, as they tend to be more sturdy and you won't get any kinks in the track

Thank you... both of those are GOOD advice, and thanks to social media advice, I've already bought some G scale fishplates, & plan expansion gaps for heat when I get to fixing anything properly. Thanks again for commenting & for watching.
