It's a good looking build, but I'm not too thrilled with the colors. Too much beige and shades of beige on the inside, and too much baby blue on the outside. The outside could do the a splash of accent colors, and the inside looks like a model home done by a house flipper. Other than that, it's easy to see the skill going into this. Might want to add some curtains for the bedroom and loft space for privacy, too.

In all these retrofits I watch, I am appalled by the enormous amount of weight and fire hazard added to the chassis by using conventional framing lumber, particle board, plywood cabinets, etc., instead of going the smart way and using skinned foam / composites/ hex core panels, as is done in aviation applications....isn't there anyone out there that has moved beyond 2 x 4's and plywood?

I’m grateful and can appreciate this but I didn’t like the design; it just looks like a house. Let’s have more design fun and exploration in the future Get messy, make mistakes and design with freedom in mind; Design is form and function and this design was def function Out some form, freedom, creativity and color (even warm neutrals if preferred) can be played with and absolutely still in this palette’s alley.

Any issues with the transformer being for EU standard 220v with live, neutral and earth whereas the unit requires US split phase live, live, earth? Seville told me it wouldn’t work when I asked. Assume no unexpected issues or case electrification due to bonded neutral?
@DanZalinsky2 ай бұрын
No I havent had any issues with the 220v. I followed Victron the victron wiring diagrams to make sure everything was grounded and bonded correctly.
@R22AP2 ай бұрын
@@DanZalinsky awesome. Good to know. No real need for split phase for these then, just any 220v feed?

I would not have place a wall under the unit; if you ever have a coil leak you will have to either take down the wall or remove the whole slim duct to access the coil and replace it.
