Except for the clean surroundings, beautiful gardens, modern infras, affluent and efficient lifestyle, which I admired, I found Singapore boring. I like gardening, doing home improv, going to beaches and nature tripping to places like Palawan, Batanes, Banaue, Batangas and Bataan, entertaining friends at home, but if you can't own even a small lot or your own house to putter around or entertain friends and relatives and there are no natural resources to go to, I would have to settle with eating out, window shopping, visiting museums, hotel or bar hopping, ad nauseum. Singapore is fortunate to have thousands of Filipino OFWs integrate, introduce and infuse into their society our unique culture, our love for fun and entertainment, our warmth and enthusiasm, love for music and singing, unconditional hospitality and generosity.
