Hi..who could help me for my enquiry. I have a "1500 pieces puzzle" (sunset on Mykonos, TRF 261448). Generally, the indicated number is not the exact one...usually the number of pieces is superior. As I moved from home twice and my daughter sometimes "touches" the puzzle I would like to know the exact number of pieces.. I don't want to start it with some pieces missing..I counted twice and I found 1548.I looked in the internet but not yet found the answer..

I just love that puzzle. Did it myself recently, also with mixed bags. It is so beautiful and at the same time so fun to put together. I love how the artist both made it a good image to puzzle and an absolute masterpiece.

I use exactly the same technique for larger puzzles. However, I have never come across a puzzle with more than 2000 pieces. Now I have found a place and can continue with 5000 and more. I think mixing is cool, and as you say, if I want to do 4000 piece puzzles, I can buy smaller ones. I will probably also do the 9000 with shuffling and document it on KZfaq. maybe I can win you as a great role model on my channel as a subscriber. You have my subscription anyway.

absolutely stunning puzzle I usually don't like time lapse but I enjoyed this one.... glad you mixed the bags and did a true 9000 piece puzzle.... doesn't matter how long it took... but was fun to see it was several days as you changed clothes... hope you do another one.... I will subscribe....ohhhhhh cool just opened your channel.. I will go check them all out.....

It was so much better than I expected. You should take the plunge and go for it :)

There is nothing to fear, as long as you do not have unrealistic expectations. It is a marathon, but a pleasant one. It only gets frustrating if you expect it to go faster.

@@PiecesPieces and how do you go about it? you leave all the puzzles in one pile, as many of them are still upside down. You can overlook a lot of them?
@PiecesPieces2 ай бұрын
I work out of the box because putting them on the table would take up so much room to work around. I hunt for certain areas, such as by color, then try to work that small section. For example, that's how I started doing the sky, castle, wings...
@Linux2482 ай бұрын
@@PiecesPieces I completely agree with you. I'll have to do the same next time. Now I'm going to finish the first video.

I did the puzzle myself and can recommend doing more sorting. I sorted much more and I think it would have been easier / faster if I had done even more sorting. At the end, it is a matter of taste. It doesn't have to be a speedrun.

Nice job....So if i understand right you do a little sorting in the beginning and you do the rest of it during progress(or you find the suitable pieces according colours or region of the puzzle)
@PiecesPieces3 ай бұрын
Yes, I search for a given color/pattern, start putting together, then keep going back and forth until near the end when I dump all pieces.

Sooooo I’m a beginner into the whole world of puzzling… I just felt like buying a puzzle without knowing anything about it from a store and guess what I bought this puzzle (Yh definitely did not think that through) and now I’m struggling so much to the extent that I’m literally trying every piece for every part except for the sky (cause I got that the normal way) anyways just wanted to share this humorous experience and can’t wait to do a lot more puzzles… perhaps 500 piece puzzles in the future 😅😅
@PiecesPieces6 ай бұрын
It definitely wasn't an easy puzzle. The sky should be easier, but the rest was pretty challenging because it was hard to figure out sections and colors to narrow down the area of the puzzle. Keep at it and good luck!

@PiecesPieces Жыл бұрын
All of the red dot pieces should be discarded. None of them are used and you especially have to remove the tiny ones inside other pieces so that everything will fit together.
@Vanessa2775 Жыл бұрын
@@PiecesPieces ohh okay so I have to just remove the red dots and use that pieces with others puzzles?
@PiecesPieces Жыл бұрын
Yes. The red dot signifies that it isn't needed. Sometimes this is a big piece (with a bunch of dots) and sometimes it's just a tiny square in the middle of a big piece which will be used as a connector to another piece.
