Yes, we have natural oil on our scalp called sebum and you don't really need oil on our scalp. I do think that it's ok to put oil on the loc itself, especially the ends bc depending on how quickly the sebum on your scalp produces, it can take days for it to actually move down the loc. I slowly stopped using oil on my scalp since I was experiencing dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. If you want to find an oil that won't clog your scalp pores research the comedogenic scale.

Honestly, locs have cut my wash time down by so much. I have really thick hair, so it would take me at least two hours to wash and blow dry my hair before locs. But now all I do is wash, oil my scalp, and go! It definitely depends on your hair type though.

I guessed between 200-250, because my first set of locs looked EXACTLY like yours, same length even, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r6uooNSAnsfGiac.html before I cut them off and started all over again (they'd gotten too heavy, and I was going through a lot at that point in my life). Love your locs. Subbed.

@sincerely.journei I'm not letting them grow long this time. I've learned that much about myself. I don't want long locs for me. I love to see it on others though 😅 Jaw line is my sweet spot I think; or just above my shoulders. Thanks for watching 😊

@@hawtnsweet oouuu, I love that! Locs that length are very cute. My locs are A LOT of work at the length they are now so I can definitely understand why you like yours the length you do lol. Are you going to cut them each time your hair grows out?
