This video has preserved some of the best memories for me and for that I thank you dearly. I stayed here nearly 10 times as a child and it defined what it meant to stay at a hotel for me in my young memory. I still remember every room I had there, I remember my first time ever using a hot tub was there, doing snow angels in the snow at the famous indoor outdoor pool and so much more. This hotel inspired a life long love of travel for me and a passion for themed tourism. I live in Florida now and work for the Walt Disney Company ironically at our very own “Disneys French Quarter Resort” here in Walt Disney World. I guess you could say the old Holidome left a lasting impression on me. Thank you for the sweet memories you captured in this video and most of all for capturing the people who made it such a special place. I have long remembered Lynne and how she would always say hello to us when we were playing pool or table tennis in the atrium. Even though it’s been 11 years since my last stay there I recognized her face immediately. Thank you again for this video I know it is something I will reflect on often

Hi Have terry come back to Toledo. I used to go see him Fridays ,Saturday nights in the late 70s and 80s. The place was called The Country Palace. It was on Jefferson ave. Thanks
