Cosmos don't like to be be fertilized but snap dragons do. Since I have containers, if trailing snap dragons are planted around the cosmos would that work?

There are seeds for sale now on your page, do you plant those now in fall? Outside? And hope they come up in spring?.. thank you for any clarity

So if you're hatching constantly, do you ever sterilize the incubator?

@@MilkAndHoneyAcreage How many times do you load it with eggs before taking a break and washing it? Do you notice any issues with the later batches of eggs?

I am going to try this have one hen I think is broody after seeing your video I realize she is broody! I did separate her and one rooster placed them in a cage right next to the chicken pen. We are not allowed to let them range freely 😢 in our county Gloucester VA. And in the past ,our neighbor calls animal control on us 😢. But praying their hearts will change!

I highly recommend this link for truly understanding your roosters and preventing and ending any aggression. Problem is if we dominate our roosters often the successful results are only short term. The roosters nature is to always be the alpha so it’s only a matter of time before they challenge head rooster (you)…..as roosters do in nature. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/arqApstlmaetkZ8.htmlsi=jkLyAdtkM4q3eexd.

They appeared in my yard a few years ago and I encouraged them and now they're thriving. Just made some cuttings today and also dug some to relocate. The roots are something else.

I just bought my first Mexican petunia today! At the nursery the flowers were open and beautiful. I brought it home and it’s still in its original pot, but the flowers have wilted and started falling off. Is that normal? I’m planning on taking them out of the pot and planting them into the ground.

Hi great video! I have a baby chick (1 week old) with a wry neck and it also seems to be narcoleptic. It took days of TLC to get it to walk, eat and drink water independently though the chick is now much better (energetic and vocal) and now can do all of those things without help! ♥ It has been indoors and separated from its mother hen and siblings per online recommendations (I believe the hen had trampled it or rejected it before hence the wry neck and so I have trepidations since I spent a lot of time/effort to get the chick well and I do not want the hen to harm it again). I am wondering how and when I should reintroduce the chick to the mother hen and siblings given it is not being used to being outdoors and falls asleep often for a few seconds at a time every few minutes or so. It also sleeps more 8-10 hours at night, too. It's neck is only very slightly bent now and only noticeable after it drinks water after lifting up it's head to digest.

We lost a chick last week so I gave my hen four more babies with the other two week old chicks she’s taking care of. I started with one and she accepted her! So I brought the others in one at a time but she rejected one of them. I picked up the chick to get her away and I sat there for a minute in the coop but when man heard her she came after me! I really don’t want to brood her alone. I was hopeful she would adopt all of them, any idea why she rejected that one?

Best moms in the chicken world are aseel hens. They can hatch large clutches, they stay on top of the pecking order, they are great teachers and are in general excellent moms. They are very determined broodies too.
