Meg, I hear you about needing repairs while on the road. It sucks cuz it messes with time available to do all the things you want to do. My first time at Sturgis my head pipe cracked just outside the rear cylinder. Black Hills H-D wanted $1200 to replace the head pipes. A Vance & Hines rep was there and he said he could get my head pipes replaced within the hour for $400. Switched from stock to True Duels. I have been a loyal V&H person ever since. Glad the dealership got you in and you two were able to get it resolved. Thank you for another fun video

I have never heard of a drain plug coming out .. Pipe plug threads are tapered and get progressively tighter so they don't leak. You can put thread tape on a plug or even various types of thread sealer.. You can fry a clutch if it's not adjusted properly so that it slips too. Doodle on a Motorcycle was riding her Triumph Triple and her engine revved like crazy every time she shifted. I tried to warn her on KZfaq in the comments.. but I guess she does not read her comments.. She had to take her bike to a dealer 2 weeks later and get her clutch adjusted. You need free play in the cable at the clutch lever.. My Buell Clutch is also adjusted when you take an inspection cover off on the primary cover. HD's are totally different than Jap Bikes so I had to read how to adjust it properly in the shop manual ..

I used to wear a Chinese plastic Armored Mesh skateboard shirt. I could get a sun tan under it. When I hit a Deer at 55 MPH and took a slide down the road it got all ripped up. Now I have a Knox Armored mesh shirt with anti abrasion mesh.. but the holes are so small I don't get much tan.
