My 5 yO broke 6 of these. My 4 yO broke 4 of them. I'm not purchasing any more. Gonna follow your video and replace the screens. Wish me luck... thank you.

The reason they're so breakable is the plastic screen. It's made very poorly. If they would have used a more durable material like glass in higher-end tablets these would be great and wouldn't have this as such a common issue.

Uh oh. Im on the 2nd broken one. The screen is blinking in fuzzy double screen. It is fuzzy and doubled off and on every half second. Is there any way to fix it?

Yes I think most tablets probably follow similar instructions to fix the touch screen. Mine is a different model but from the videos I've seen, it's all basically the same process.

You didn't even show the hardest part which is how you got the screen to pry off so easily like that. I got pieces of glass flying in my eyes and my fingers are cut up from it.

Dude. I used screen removal tools from Amazon. I'm sure using even a hair dryer for a minute on a side, then sticking the (holding open) guitar pick looking tools in while you do the other would work too.

A tiny, tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol around the edges will also help to loosen it up, just try to avoid getting any on the LCD under the glass. The electrical components are fine, but with any prolonged exposure, it can cause issues with the LCD. If you get any on the LCD, no biggie, just try to wipe it off. A little bit of isopropyl alcohol on the edges is all that you need and it should come off very easy - the good thing about these tablets is that the adhesive around the edges of the screen have no cables or anything important in the way. If the digitizer cable gets cut, it's whatever because you're replace it anyway. The only thing you need to be careful around is the front camera. Some people may prefer to disable it anyway since it's a kid's tablet. Hope this helps if you end up having to do the replacement again!

Ask for a replacement for the new screen. Sounds like you got a defective one

@hollyallyson4111 Oh yeah! Fun fact for anyone reading this!! I used GermX and wiped the strip. It had lile red ink on it or something that came off on the tissue. Def not supposed to be on there. So, if it doesn't work the first time, just clean it off with rubbing alcohol/Germ X or something and try again! Lol

What is the replacement fuse? Thank you for the video. Everyone focuses on the door switches and even though I had a bad door switch as well... this fuse blew because of it apparently.

I read that here are 2 fuses. One for the door and the other is the thermal switch.

@@katt9402 Yes, there are 2. 1 ceramic 20A, 1 High Voltage 5KV08A located in the white inline fuse holder near the bottom. Mine was the high voltage and stumped me at first. I ordered a 5 pack for around $3

all my fuses ok, capacitor ok, Galanz box ok. The only difference is the power block at 4:24. I don't get the conductivity putting my multimeter pins in the same places. So, i guess for me this part is the problem.
