The most devastating sin of all is lying. People don't truly understand that you must refrain from all lying, the same as you must refrain from all murder.

Sorry, but I think you are MISTAKEN about the notion that the previous serious sins which Jews committed in the past, like - idolatry adultery and murder- still apply today. Once TESHUVA is enacted by G-D, and the sinner - and FORGIVEN, is it not WRONG to remind him of his past in this way? Rather, not respecting or learning from each other, is what is keeping us from the Redemption! Those who should KNOW BETTER must be especially vigilant to avoid such behavior.

To your VALID POINT of the Beis Hamikdash being but a physical representation of what is supposed to be the IDEAL STATE in our minds and hearts ( intellect and emotion), we need to get our act together - especially, when it comes to GETTING ALONG and LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER! In that vein, we need to remember to treat each other with RESPECT - not to diminish or dismiss someone outright because of our MISPERCEPTIONS! We must keep in mind that such behavior actually engenders a JUSTIFIED ANIMOSITY - and this is not what the Creator wants.

B'SD can someone explain why the souls that come from the White Light experience everything from the external world, in thought, speech, action, empathy, human connection, and all the wants and desires and pain from the entire world, clothed upon us? What is this?

It was so validating to know that we may be broken-hearted for a certain amount of time in a day so that we may be b'simchat chayim the rest of the time because we are not required to shove our pain and sadness down into a place of shame. Once, when I was grieving, a friend told me, "Happiness is a choice". I found this extremely painful and the friendship was never on the same level again because she did not allow me to feel my feelings but rather implied I must ignore them and throw them away, like garbage.

The good news in Eicha is when we recognize, repent and wait patiently for Hashem to forgive us, He does because we are His people and He loves us. But the bad news is if we don't repent, we suffer. It is entirely in our hands.

My understanding from the scriptures is that the full moon is the new moon and the beginning of the month. The 1st day which is a Sabbath. God doesnt use a Roman pagan calendar. Nor does he name the days. Shalom.

Zionism is the enemy of the Jewish people and the Torah so you can change that “Israel” name given from heretics and maybe start calling it eretz yisroel as it is written in the Torah from the word of god.

Would it be safe to infer that if the creator spoke to one other than Moses, that people may become envious and break the do not covet mitzvah? Like, "where's my divine intervention!? I want a conversation with Hashem!! Why doesn't G dash D talk to me!?". That sort of thing? And why send messengers to speak on his behalf after Moses? Or if one was to receive word, wouldn't they need to keep it to themselves based on the mentioned scenario?

Bs"d You really need to turn up the volume. Also, she needs to let us know what the people in the audience are saying. She needs to repeat their comments, questions. Such a shame not to listen because it's not loud enough.😢

Although I have not yet finished watching/listening to this shiur, I want to agree with the bubbles strategy. The Rebbetzin is spot on. I am a music therapist and mental health counselor as well as a conservatory trained musician. One must breathe in to blow the bubbles, and when done properly (breathing in deeply through the nose, not allowing the shoulders to rise) ane blowing out a steady stream of air for the bubbles, and it is repeated more than a few times, it lights up parts of the brain and neuro-pathways that are shrunk during stressful situations....this is a technique I have done with human beings in various settings, and especially in trauma informed care. It works. I use this technique. I am a parent to a 10 year old on the Autism Spectrum who also has other diagnoses that make daily life highly challenging. Talking with HaShem and breathing are two of the main the ways I make it each day. Take what you need❤
