In short, the proposal here is to consider having three detached ceilings instead of installing a single integrated ceiling. The three ceilings are 1. Central suspended ceiling (with or without lights, fans and speakers); 2. Peripheral suspended ceiling, always with lighting and may include additions such as speakers And, 3. Semi-central suspended ceiling. It is between the central and the peripheral. It is usually a simple plain or part of the structure. The peripheral ceiling shall be directly hung from the structure with a flexible and free attachment system. Central and Semi-central ceiling shall also be detached from each other and hung directly from the structure The advantages of the proposed detached peripheral ceiling design are: 1. Reduces materials consumption, time, effort and cost 2. Gives flexibility in determining and changing the drop level from the structure, and add elements 3. Allows possibility of having many shapes and curves for the peripheral ceiling instead of using straight lines only 4. Provides the possibility of replacing the peripheral ceiling and changing the shape of the ceiling easily without high costs 5. Allows the use of different materials to install the peripheral ceiling, and to be different from the materials used in the other two ceilings 6. Gives more elegance and efficiency to lighting by allowing light to be reflected from walls and Semi-central ceiling instead of from Semi-central ceiling only. 7. Divides installation of peripheral ceiling into parts and setting them up on the floor easily, then lift them up separately to be hung and connected to each other
