This song is so powerful, it makes me tear up almost everytime. The version at the Invalides in Paris is unbelievable.

The Transcendental Nature of her compositions/musicianship is stupefying. This heightened "State of Being and Consciousness" is experienced not only by this viewer, but is plainly evident in how her gaze frequently becomes fixed upon "elsewhere" and her body is filled with energies that beget involuntary movement. This phenomena is so apparent is essentially ALL of her live performaces. I treasure her and her music immensely, as it always transfers my mind and soul far beyond this madding world. Hania making music is one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen.

Some try to compare Hania with Chopin. Maybe because they are both of Polish origin. But I honestly think that comparison is a serious mistake. Chopin was a master of virtuosity. His melodic journey was astonishingly complicated and only a virtuoso piano soloist can interpret his compositions reliably. Hania Rania, on the other hand, does not seek to dazzle with that virtuosity, but as the daughter of Glass, Einaudi and others, she seeks harmonious simplicity, which manages to excite in the most direct way, like an arrow of fire that pierces the heart after describing a path as straight as possible. She does not seek to select virtuous elites, but rather an audience that is capable of being moved. Basically because she is still dreaming her existential fantasy, she perceives naked poetry, without elaborate ornaments and flourishes, of an essential harmony because she is still alive. and she still wants to love life. Obviously IMO.

Wow, simply Wow! Someone could say that Hania is an angelic figure, like those that adorn many chapels, but no. Not at all. It would be undervaluing her and to a certain extent offending her. Hania Rani is a true goddess, capable of creating a new Universe born from her talent, her creative imagination and thousands of hours of study and rehearsal. But above all, thanks to her audacity in daring to connect with those emotions that beat in the depths of her being and allowing them to be expressed through the keys of that piano. And if anyone finds my statement excessive, arrogant or even blasphemous, I'm sorry, but I'm telling you in advance that I'm not going to retract it.
