@jonanjello I have six Thaelenk Tundra, I did not put the Ice Base on them because they were just for the look. This was a fun build, and it was not as awful to play on, as I suspected. I myself only have six Road to the Forgotten Forest (one of them was glued together, and in my videosntou can see the really beat-up piece from taking the glued parts apart. I want more, I feel I never have enough!

@@derekvashthe evergreens are my favorite map element. They’re easy to cluster and always make a map good-looking. As well, I have always been pro-melee and wanted to give them support. Just today I was listening to OEAO’s podcast and their discussion of fav competitive maps. It was good to hear their support of melee, too.

@smileydog5941 they will return someday, "Common Clash Season 2" 🤣. The Glyphs drawn also did the Phantom Knights a TON of favors, I think the Anubian Wolves stood a great chance if there was not +3 Defence on nearly every roll.

@@jonanjello me too. Apparently, after calling it a Honey Grenade long enough, my Aunt decides to explain it sits it the dish, which is full of hot water, so the honey runs smoother when you pour it.

@jonanjello I am not sure what is on the spike, I was being quick as he was heading to clean that room after family left. I wish I could find a fuse for me lamp. I also put a normal sized bulb in mine so the Lionel "L" melted a little. The eggs are from hens on an organic farm we visited. My Pap's Zuchinni were huge, we grilled one later. That military truck was a random find after missing my planned turn, it was cool!

@csabaidonat I am going to try a new team and circle back to Tower someday. I am thinking Rampart next. I am not sure why you cannot see past comments, I can still see them and they were vital in pointing out some mistakes. I made more mistakes in the Rust Dragon level because I panicked that I wasted so much time when I blocked myself off. I am heading to boardgamegeek now to see what was said, sometimes Archon answers. Maybe they can explain what the Obelisk should do for that scenario.

@@derekvash I am too obsessed with Tower so must try it a few more times before giving up. With my last attempt I tried to do it without a sec hero but that didnt work either.

@@derekvash no worries great vid! I’m really enjoying this game, I loved the computer game as a kid. And there’s definetly a lot of small rules that are hard to remember at times. I tend to always forget the ai deck against enemy heroes.

@qtherage7536 you may notice some skipping frames in battles against AI. . . that is often me re-filming because I forgot the AI cards! Haha. Yes. I loved this game as a kid, too. It's such a fantastic game.

Great video. Looking forward to see the fight against the Rust Dragons. I started with Solmyr and failed on my first attempt. You did well regarding the secondary hero retreat! However when you get to search the articact deck, you can either take the discarded top artifact OR you can draw 2 artifacts and pick one. You just picked the top one instead. :) And a question: where did you read that you only get to keep 5 cards from your deck? I read the core rulebook, the rewritten rulebook and the campaign book but did not find this rule.

Seconds, as I state to everyone who reminds me of mistakes I make, thank you, ot helps me do better next time. 3rd, check the Mission Book in the Core Box, it is in the "Campaign Setup", I am not 100% sure which page at the moment, but it is the bottom of the page with the Mummy art.

I will verify once I get back to my game (it will be a few days), but I believe each player may select from the 7 units of their chosen race. 2. I will double-check this as well, but unless the exploration phase has cards that cause you to use your deck, then yes. The Battlefield mode seemingly is designed to be a faster way to play. Sorry that my answer boils down to "I don't know, I will check later." I will, though!

@jonanjello thank you! yes, while I play very casually, I tend to mention the things those who lean more competitive say. There is value in both styles of play and it's fair to present it all so the end user can decide what feel to go for. Yeah, that Scattergories die heard me say "man, I was really hoping to see this kill someone" and had my back. . . 🤣

@KingLeonidas540 that was what I was feeling as well. It was almost as if the Marro Stinger were facing an Army of 32 Mezzodemons. If Tor-Kul-Na went down fighting Jotun it could have very easily went to the Mezzodemons.

@@derekvash @KingLeonidas540 - Exoskeleton does feel incredibly powerful. Though I own all of the D&D expansions x3, I've not played them. Their 'Book of' thread has insightful discussion yet no Power Ranking.

@jonanjello they seem really powerful until Special Attacks show up. They are great, but suffer from no range and only two members to the squad. Still, I like them a lot and enjoyed the rounds they were in.

I hope you get what you seek. I know that urge to collect and the vood of a missed desired game piece.

I looked at the rulebook before doing that. It only uses cardinal direction for determining adjacentcy. On the section for movement, it just states, "may as many spaces up to their movement total." It seems weird, but I will be reviewing before my next game because if you can move diagonally, then it feels like there is no space on the battlefield that any unit can't just reach in one turn.

You prompted me to hunt down an answer from the designers. You were correct, and I will address this at the start of my next video. It was stated, "I confirm you can only move top, down, right, or left. And only spaces on these axes are considered adjacent - so with ground and flying, you can only attack units on top, down, right, or left. At least if we talk about a standard battle board without battlefield extension." So, it sounds like I will need to check the battlefield expansion as it may change combat. Thanks for helping me keep honest. it's too easy to take shortcuts in solo play!

Thank you, Fidgit is great. First off, when we named him at the adoption center, us spelling the word fidget incorrectly worked out eventually, and now my autocorrect has learned Fidgit. His breed is half Rat Terrier and Half Chihuahua. He is a wonderful little dog, and we love him. (I am a cat guy myself). He flipped my opinion on dogs. At the adoption place, he was the only small dog. When we went, my wife said, "I just know one thing, no small dogs." So we looked, and none of the big ones fit. Every time we walked past him, he would jump and wag and be excited. As we were getting ready to leave, I told her, "Look, this little guy right here has been dying to get your attention. He looks so alone. Let's give him a shot. Please." We had a little meetup, and he clung to her right away. We asked if we could adopt, and we apparently now have the record at the adoption place for fasted adoption. He arrived that day and was only "in the system" for about 5 minutes. He was in the shelter itself less than 30. I love this little guy!
