Some of these comments are so braindead and its disapointing. Simple facts are the bike doing this is legal in this area. A car driving through lines is almost ALWAYS illegal. A car driving on the shoulder is ALWAYS illegal. Do not defend someone doing an illegal action. Do not insult someone doing a legal action. And if you dont know the rules of the road then dont make a comment.

@@robbot9877I disagree!! She’s doing it perfectly, she’s splitting at a safe courteous speed she’s not weaving in and out aggressively… This is exactly how you’re supposed to lane split!! I’ve been doing it for over 35yrs and have never had an incident (touch wood) it’s the wannabes that split vehicles at a high rate of speed and weave in and out that cause the problems… Edit: apologies🙏🏾 what the vehicle is doing is more dangerous he’s changing lanes aggressively where he’s not meant to be, he’s doing it in a way that doesn’t give him time to react if a bike is splitting etc also people don’t expect a vehicle to undertake up the shoulder so most don’t check if they need to pull over for some emergency reason…

@@robbot9877 I agree that lane splitting CAN be more dangerous, however if you're stopped in a line of traffic the chances of you getting rear ended and crumpled are actually far higher. So splitting SAFELY is what's important and if done wisely you and the car driver should be okay.

One solid yellow and one solid white that generate a lane and in fact two dual lane highways merging ON THE BRIDGE is a double solid, yes. He's lucky that there wasn't a painted island there too. In SA that fine is ZAR1000 per wheel per line and island... The driving in the shoulder could be an instant court appearance...
