Great song, nice video. Some corrections on the lyrics - it's strange how the wrong lyrics take over on google: ... Huddle figure on a lamp lit wall ... 'Bout a girl who'd have her way ... All the doubts that ever bothered you

Hello descantiano Thank you very much for your comment on the lyrics of "Supertramp - Shadow Song". I just looked at the official KZfaq channel of Supertramp and compared the lyrics. Official Supertramp KZfaq Channel; - Only a figure on a lamplit wall - About a girl who'd have her way - All the doubts that ever bothered you (My mistake, I just corrected it, thanks!) Here the Link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iKugdLWYsMXRpmQ.html

@@youtube-PopMusic Thanks for correcting it. Sometimes the "official" lyrics or the ones printed on the album cover (back in the day) are not the ones actually sung in the recording. I'm 99% sure he actually sings "huddle figure" and not "only a figure", which would also be lyrically far weaker (at least weaker than what could be expected from Richard Palmer-James).

Thanks for this awesome presentation. I lived in the Monterey area when the movie was being filmed. This is my favorite song. Neil Diamond's genius captured the wisdom of the ages here. This LP, "O.G.: Original Gangster" was, (I believe) Ice T's first Grammy nomination. It didn't win, but it's one of his best musical offerings. It's my 2nd favorite Ice T album; (right after "Power"). Honestly, I really wasn't listening to rap at this time; but I found it hard to ignore his storytelling abilities--simply because his subject matter offended a lot of people during that time. Songs like: "Mind Over Matter"; "New Jack Hustler"; "Bitches 2" "The Tower" ...made me a huge supporter of him; AND, I also agreed a lot of his sociopolitical commentary and worldview. I was TOTALLY ready when Biggie's subject matter and style of storytelling came around; and made me pay even closer attention to what was happening with regard to hip hop's view of the world beyond "the hood". Sadly, this would be the last Ice T album I bought, because I no longer felt that his work had the same political and social relevance of his first four albums. But...that's just MY opinion. Unlike sooo many of his contemporaries, I'm happy for the well-earned success he's had. Nothing but ❤️ for this brother.
