I got mine today, took it out and the slipper seems to be way too lose as it now constantly kicks in on 3S. I've tried to take the back end of the car off so i can tighten it but am struggling. How did you tighten yours up?

@zombi303 check out 5:20 in the video. I pulled the motor, lifted the tower to tower brace, and grabbed the nut with needle nose pliers and rolled the car to tighten

@@VoltUpRC Damn it didn't work - I grabbed it with needlenose pliers and tried to roll the car but it wouldn't move. The wheels just slid

@zombi303 you can also just turn two fronts or backs to turn the clutch, but it's easy to run out of hands

@@VoltUpRC Thanks for your feedback, I am considering to take these durattrax 12Hex like original or the also great RER32519 which are larger 17Hex, unfortunately not available in Germany, do they fit with hex17 adapter also with the standard shocks ? Thank you

@ZalookTabouleh I didn't notice a ton of benefit with the 12mm duratrax, going 17mm is not only a great upgrade, it also allows for widening the truck significantly. The redcat wheels are my favorite but the proline 2.8s are also OK. I'm going to try some kkpit tte tires next

@@VoltUpRCyes but , Unfortunately I had to stop my testing for the time being, because the lower attachment of the left front shock absorber broke after a stunt, also the cover protection was damaged I am surprised that the lower shock attachment could break so quickly because it was not a violent stunt or jump The truck itself is very robust and stable and I like it I've now ordered the AE Shocks you recommended Did you fill it with 3000cs oil ?

@drewjayy8495 you can get good lift until you bind the front steering links, then they'll need replaced with some with more articulation. The hot racing are good shocks but I'm still working the best spring setup. Maybe stock

That thing is a monster, just like the 16th scales, which i still have all of them that came out in great running condition, also only uses 3s on all of them for having them over 2 years.keep up the great running bruh.

Esto no es un hyper go 10208 v2(ni siquiera se sabe si algún día saldrá y como será) esto es un hyper go 10208 Frankenstein). Dicho esto ese coche entre ruedas, separadores, amortiguadores lleva 100$ encima.. Comparar este hyper go 10208 a día de hoy con un kraton 6s o un oucarst 4s es como comparar un traxxas con un Wltoys(donde se ponga Arrma quita ese hyper go). No me a gustado tu video. Lo siento

@sorrochazo hey man I appreciate you watching! I do have just over $100 in the truck putting what you see in the video at about $250USD. I think it's an incredible value at that price. Yeah the V2 part is just clickbait and I appreciate you clicking! This car is certainly not really comparable to a 6s kraton, but ABSOLUTELY is comparable to a 3s Granite and maybe superior! My kraton however has bent chassis on bash sessions such as this, until I got an m2c chassis, and was $700 into the kraton 6s. I'm having a blast over here and hope you are too!

Sorrochazo, no sé dónde vives, pero los precios dependen mucho de tu ubicación. Algunos en EEUU han conseguido el MJX por 150 dolares, que es lo que vale en China. En Asia la diferencia de precio entre un Arrma 4S es abismal. Yo tuve dos Granite y cualquier recambio me costaba un pastizal traerlo de EU o EEUU.

Every vehicle I've seen based on this design has had sluggish steering. I'm not sure if it is due to the linkages and servo saver, or pillow ball design of the front uprights.

That's very unlucky. Mine came loose on first run but so loose it didn't eat itself. A couple of other guys had this same manufacturing issue. Tightened up properly and it's sound now. Very nearly ruins this awesome platform!

@ch-vs3fw it's actual the sc10 body, I didn't think an sct would be all that relevant to compare. I'm not in the traxxas politics, I just get tired of their watered down cars that pretty much force you into their overpriced and necessary upgrade plan. If they made good cars that would be one thing, but they neuter the cars as rtr and make it so they have to be upgraded. I feel they do this worse than any other brand. Just sell the car the way it needs to be, if the price is high, so be it, don't sell cars that are just good enough to last a couple packs before needing better parts

Nice video. I have the maverick quantum+ xt. Looks like it might share a few parts even. Definitely the shocks, maybe the towers. And probably the wing too. Although it has its flaws, it is a fun truck! I hope they do an xt + this time round as well. I like the look of the + version better, so hopefully they do that here, although i see they are going that kagama/kraton/sledge style body shape. Cool truck and good bash!

Sure do! I think the sniper will handle better but I can't imagine the durability is there. Of the three I've done, I feel it's Hyper Go is most durable and fastest, sniper handles best, and maverick is in the middle of both/ maybe best of both worlds

Im getting one as soon as i can get it with free shipping. I cant justify Amain charging $70 for shipping to Ak/Hi. I'd rather spend that $70 on the metal spur gear and a 4s Hobbywing. Horizon Hobby is charging only $15 to ship RCs

Great improvement over the original Quantums, I have had the new Quantum2 MT version a while now. I upgraded the pinion to the largest you can fit. I think it was a 15t or 16t pinion max that you can fit in the truck, certainly woke the truck up some.

No problem with the spur yet, and I locked my slipper. BUT I don't even have a full pack through it yet, and it's down waiting on a cvd.... time will tell, but if the spur goes I feel it's my fault. Do rc was running 4s, so he was just asking for it

This is only the second video in existence on this truck, it came out only a week or two ago. I think your referring to the original quantum xt? This is the all new quantum2 completely different check it out! The maverick website still lists both so you can compare

The old Quantum was not very durable at all, this new Quantum2 version is a complete redesign including new more durable plastics. The new MT Quantum2 version is proving to be a very durable little truck with lots of vids on the MT. This new truggy version is the same truck as the MT version, just a different body & wing added. However Kaos RC in Australia has stripped 3 crown gears, first run he stripped 1 crown gear. Then replaced that gear, second run he stripped both the front & rear crown gears. All the other vids iv'e seen including my own Quantum2 MT have held up well with no failures. But then I dont bash that hard myself.

Maverick tires are a little shorter, about 5mm. Same width. However the fsr tires are flat where the maverick is rounded, which gives the maverick a much smaller look overall
