This is possibly the greatest song ever... and hardly anyone's heard it. Just lovely..

Such a simple setup. One man. A couple strings. And one hell of a fuckin story. Timeless.

Yay Mayer Hawthorne at the Basement. That gig was awesome. I was up front in front of Quincy the keyboardist but vids way too shaky (from way too much dancing). Do you have any other clips?

Thanks for uploading. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a video due to the annoying security staff... Anyway, I won't forget this gorgeous night. Cheers from Sydney

Possibly quiet because of the person's mic (sounds like it picks up close sounds) and their position in relation to the speakers. Or maybe they had the recording vol down

Forget attention. Its getting all the attention it needs. We all realize the beauty. The way the music industry is going right now its reverting back to the days where special albums werent shoved down everyone's throat and we can all appreciate the album as if it was made to be appreciated....Im very , happy having an amazing secret such as Dans music

Great album and great live performance in Amsterdam (24-05-2009)!
@ianperez615 жыл бұрын
i agree wholeheartedly. every one of the black keys albums has had a song or two of a softer macabre nature (Lies, the Lengths), however with Keep it hid, its the inverse. Most of the songs are less heavy with the exception of the opening tracks. Perhaps this is where the title of the album comes from?
@Dikkestrontseg15 жыл бұрын
This must be one of my favourite tracks on the album, if not my favourite. So weird that this album isn't getting more attention. Such a great album! One of the best I've heard in a long time.

I like how he freestyles... But it seems he has a few tempo issues here.

beautiful song. This album really exposed a side of Mr. Auerbach that you wouldn't expect from his Black Keys records.
