He's great, I get it, but I don't hear the soul in his guitar work. It's just really good fret board play. Listen to SRV or prince and compare. It's as of the music comes out of their body. With trucks it's just the fingers.

@@PressuredSpeechBand i know the blues scale because its basically pentatonic but its deeper than just the scale.. there are passing notes and major and minor 3rds,etc.. theres more but its going over my head as i dont know what im doing

It’s interesting to see josh plays the acoustic with the same intensity as electric, since he plays strings as big as acoustic strings, heavier than what most people would even put on acoustics
