I have all of these symptoms minus seizures. My face has deteriorated on one side my mouth is starting to slouch on one corner, the cheek muscles feel like they're wasting away but my doctors keep writing me off. One suggested i seek botox & im aging. Had skin swab, blood test. All apparently reasonable. Gave me steroid cream, antifungal, antibacterial, still having symptoms. My arms keep balooning up, burns, skin goes tight sometimes leaks then dry & scaly & I have liaisons appearing on my face disrupting the hairs, my arms, my legs too now. I keep itching like I have a rash that's not there on my stomach n arms/hands. I have a lump under my ear between the hinge in my jaw & one at the base of my neck at the rear constantly going up n down in shape n sizes. The sķin on the ends of my fingers are going hard n dead. I keep getting pins & needles with numbness on my limbs n hands, if i brush the hairs of my arms or legs in tbe opposite direction it stings like loads of hot stingers & now I can go without eating for days at a time & when I do eat if it's a decent meal it's coming back up. I can't shut my brain down but I keep forgetting things and when i do sleep i sweat so bad i have to change my sheets and flip my mattress. I feel like I'm not being listened to by my doctors I've dealt with all this since March 2023. What do I do? I'm 30 live in the UK by the way

Question. Can this condition cause a lump inside the neck and be surrounded by liquid? My husband had a biopsy which they drained fluid. Couldn't see so recently did another biopsy and drained a bit more liquid. Lump is much smaller looking due to this being done but can still be felt under the skin

Swollen lymph nodes caused by lymphoma: are most commonly found in the neck, armpit or groin are usually smooth and round usually move out of the way when you press on them (are ‘mobile’) have a ‘rubbery’ texture are usually painless - although they can sometimes ache or cause pain in nearby areas (for example, if they’re pressing on a nerve). Our suggestion would be if you are concerned that this a question to ask your husband's medical team.

We're sorry to learn that you have symptoms you're concerned about, and I imagine this is a worrying time for you. The signs and symptoms of lymphoma are more commonly associated with other, less serious conditions, like an infection, for example. We would suggest to anyone who is worried about symptoms, to contact their doctor to talk these through, and to get advice, so we hope you will feel able to do this, with a view of seeking reassurance. We hope the information is helpful, and that you're able to chat soon with your doctor. We send our best wishes, and hope your symptoms settle down soon.

We'd suggest going back to speak with your doctor, if you're not clear on what may be happening for you. The symptoms of lymphoma are considered to be very common symptoms, that are usually linked to other conditions, less serious conditions, lymphoma would be more rare. However, it is important to continue to seek guidance if you're not comfortable with how things have been left. We send our best wishes, and hope you will feel able to reach out to your doctor.

I was sorry to learn of your breast cancer diagnosis, and that you have also been diagnosed with lymphoma. I imagine that this may be a difficult time. Very often, why someone has developed lymphoma will be unknown, but we know that it won't be something that you've done, or not done, that has caused this; lifestyle factors are not generally linked to lymphoma. There can be risk factors that can mean someone may go on to develop lymphoma, but the risk is still very small. We have some information on what we do know about the causes of lymphoma, and this can be found here: lymphoma-action.org.uk/about-lymphoma-what-lymphoma/causes-and-risk-factors-lymphoma#otherfactors You'll see this gives details on cell changes that can happen in our bodies.
