For the first time I am seeing some positive responses for PhD. Otherwise nowadays everyone is busying to portray PhD as end of life and it's one of the worst decisions you take in your life.

How about finding out what's wrong with humans in the first place i.e. what makes them so untrustworthy?

Goo said that there was no dust in the clean room. I highly doubt that. There was no air lock. They put their clean room attire on in a regular room with dust and walked directly into the clean room with all of the dust from the other room. I thought they were going to go through some kind of intermediary room with a 20 second blast of air to blow off the dust, but Goo just brought them in. There HAS to be dust in that clean room.

What a joke this is and a complete waste of resources. How these "Quantum Mechanic Scientist" claim that anything emits "photons" is the most delusional idea to ever arise in physics. They have proven over and over that they do not understand how light detectors work and what happens when a material emits light. 1st of all Light is an electromagnetic wave that is emitted by a particle and if that wave has enough energy when it comes into contact with another material/particle then that particle will emit its own electromagnetic wave in response to the energy from the 1st wave. 2nd a Light detector does not detect photons what it has is a large amount of very low energy particles that are sensitive to low energy electromagnetic waves and because we are always being bombarded with electromagnetic waves 24/7 of all different energy levels the detector has to be calibrated to not sense any unwanted light by raising its sensitivity to just above the "Noise level floor" that all light detectors have. Like the static we see on old TV sets or the static we here over the radio are examples of the noise level floor that all light detectors have and must be set to just the right level so when a electromagnetic wave of low energy comes into contact with it then a single particle from the detector will rise above the noise level floor emitting a electromagnetic wave that can now be seen or detected by another light detector with an even more sensitive noise level floor that I would assume would be in a very dark area to keep the noise level as low as possible. Light is a electromagnetic wave that comes from glowing particles this is why these people think light is a wave and a particle because in order to produce light you must then make a particle itself glow so light consists of particles that are glowing and emitting waves of light. To say that Light travels as both a wave and a particle is nothing but a delusion and they call this Quantum Mechanics. If these were real scientist doing real experiments then they would understand how their equipment works and not make foolish ideas and theory's by only knowing what their equipment tells them as results. Learn how technology is built and how technology works then use that technology to do experiments where you fully understand whats going on and please spare the rest of us with your non sensical delusion ideas that do not connect with real reality.....

They consume public funds better spent elsewhere. Bedazzling you with nonsensical experiments they claim will finally lead to some great discovery. None of it ever leads to anything but more money spent on more fake science.

Love that you showed a timeline of how you started off excited, quickly got bogged down, decided to eat, still frustrated, but eventually hit something hours later. Exactly the same research process I go through. As my advisor always says, that’s the “re” in “research”! Always need a little caffeine to get you motivated again. Also, I have that same Thorlabs cup!!

Love the CGI. LOL You are describing a direct line of communication without repeaters, boosters, or intermediary devices to process the direction of communications traffic. When we were experimenting with such communications back in the early eighties, it naturally fell apart when we put any distance between. We could send an array of tv stations between one lab and the next, about 40 m apart, but at a few hundred meters.... You need something like fiber optics to retain the focus. It's one thing to work out the ends and another to work out the middle. Good luck!

I did my PhD second time, but I only hold one PhD diploma. Even though I could able to get my first PhD, I prefered to quit from the program with just a MSc degree. In my 2nd PhD, I was working 80 hours per week with almost all the weekends and vacations since the university was demanding from PhD students 3 papers and finish the selective and compulsary courses within 3 years. In my field, it is not easy to publish three papers in a short time, even one is so difficult within three years. Thus, I had to work quite hard to complete my PhD on time. Otherwise, as an international student, I would end up with financial and practical problems like residance permit, if it was extended. PhD is not easy, especially if you are an international student in a foreign country.

Sounds like the dream daily routine for me. Still doing my degree in physics (currently in pause due to financial and health problems but soon resuming) and it seems basically imposible for me.. I guess for any Latam-trapped folk grown in poverty. Gonna fight for it as much as I can and hopefully I'll be lucky enough to make it :')

After finishing math education I will get another 4 year degree to become a physicist. Thank you for the video. Now, it makes me more motivated to make my dream come true.
