Finland would probably only need help for long term war. The whole Finland's military is purely for defending it's own territory. It would be easy to enter Finland's land, but keeping it would be extremely hard for the following reasons: Finland has road's specifically designed to help defend the land, they could get abaut 900 000 finns to defend in matter of weeks and we are in bunch of different alleys like nato (as you mentioned), EU, some Nordic air stuff and overall great relationships with europe. The thing is, these jets are not dirt cheap and they perform like last generation platforms, there are already a myriad of last generation fighters out there on the market that can fit whatever your use case may be. When Denmark will sell an f-16 for like 12 million why would you spend 120 million a j-20 unless you are sanctioned? Right now the The F-35's price per unit, including ancillary costs like depot maintenance, ground support equipment, and spare parts is between 110 and 140 million depending on variant and optional features.

Hmm, I have nothing against this video in itself, but you seem to think that Finland has no armed forced or military equipment itself. That is a wrong assumption. What Finland needs is support after the first attack - we have the resources to stop it, but as you said, Russia is a much bigger country with more total resources. Thus, for a longer war, we need the support of our allies - particularly in materiel but also in personnel. PS. Tanks are not extremely useful here - look at the geography.

You are forgeting that there is DCA ( Defence Co-operation Agreament) agreament signed in 2023 between USA and Finland so if this would hapen. Finland is not only NATO member but it has defence agreament with USA so Russia would not excist in a way we know it.

It's interesting that a lot of these types of videos focus on the individual airframe capabilities while briefly mentioning the inter-connectivity capabilities. The ability to share sensor information across multiple platforms to build a comprehensive common operation picture is such a huge thing. One platform can fire a missile and another platforms weapon system can help guide it towards it's target. That is huge. We're not so far away from being able to develop the ability for unmanned attack aircraft with "swarming" capability. That is what is separating us from China and Russia at the moment.
