I just found out that my trip to Utah is going to include a Stitching retreat. So I will fly in to Salt Lake and then my girlfriend and her daughter are going to pick me up and we’re going to drive to Wyoming so will come back from the retreat on Sunday but it’ll be late because it’s an 8 Hour Dr. and then I fly out at about noon on Monday morning, so I won’t have time to get together with you this trip. I’m hoping that we can try this again next trip which will be in the spring. Love your videos. Just got done watching the quilting one see you in the next video.

My best friend/Stitchie buddy, is the reason that I come out to Utah a couple times a year she is Australian. She was at one time, the fourth quilt pattern designer for the whole country. So I am very familiar with yourAustrailian quiltyLady, she it is not the same person, however. So much inspiration in your video and I understand every two months would be perfect for a quilt ing Bee that you call it.

Your quilts are just incredible! …you put fabrics together so well…I wish I had that talent! You must have quite a fabric stash to pull from…would love to see it, and would love to know HOW you build your stash. I would also like to see how your studio is set up! 😍

I love how you share your vision for a simple life! If we don’t have the confidence to blaze our own path and choose follow someone else instead, we’re at jeopardy of losing ourselves. It’s so easy to get caught up in FOMO…good for you for showing an alternative!

Love all your quilt projects. I've been watching you since day one and love your progress- it's inspiring. My sewing room flooded July 16th and I had my four quilt tops up high but lost all my cross stitch books I had started to save as a new stitcher. I'll be back at the kitchen table for a long time to come.

I love your videos! This one was a special treat. Do you happen to know if the only way to get the instructions for the block book is through the Big Woods BOM? I just love it and would love to make my own for my hand piecing but I can’t commit myself to another big project right now.

You never cease to amaze me with your eclectic and beautiful projects. I learn so much from your fabric choices. I tracked down the 2015 magazine when you first showed those brilliance stars- love it soooo much! I can’t wait for the October update to see your progress and because it will be cooler here in the southwest. Thanks for the pep talk at the end, needed that😉🥰

I’m amazed at the way you put color and pattern together. I love the way you mix low volumes. I would love you to pull out one or two of your scrap bins one day and show us what’s in them. It would be fun to look through all that fabric goodness with you.

I have the seasonal patchwork pattern too! I have some wips to finish first, but I definitely want to do the Christmas one first. The on point granny squares are amazing! I have a one yard bundle that I'm planning to use for Cabin Peaks. I am one color short though.

Sarah Fielke was the featured quilter at the quilt show in Sisters in 2023. I attended the garden walk where her quilts were hung outside at Five Pines and she talked about each one. There was also a longer lecture afterwards. It was very enjoyable and she seemed so nice. I’m excited to see your progress on her pattern.

so every quilting video says" I hope I inspired you blah blah blah". Which is not really why I watch, but I always appreciate the videos. However, I rarely feel like I've got to drop everything and go sew. Each pattern you showed, I kinda of did an internal shrug ( I sound so judgey and I'm really not. I just watch way too much KZfaq and there is understandably a lot of redundancy). But when you showed your take and your fabric selection...each time it was a wow...actually a WOW! You really made some interesting choices. I enjoyed each and every quilt. When you pulled the Lori Holt, I actually yawned, but your maple leaf quilt was amazing beyond the fact it was orange:). And the book nerd made me stop the video and make a second cup of coffee so I could truly enjoy it. Thanks for starting my sewing day on such a high note. You are inspiring without "hoping" to be :). You just are.
