Late to the party, but it looks like a 1st gen J35, so probably like a J35A1?
@SwapBlogRU3 ай бұрын
Definitely not a J35A1. J35A3/4 perhaps, and hopefully it's at least semi-built, with some aggressive pistons and cams. But then my understanding is that the guy was looking to boost this NSX, so that might even be unnecessary.

You may want to think about using a fire proof heat insulation to keep the heat in tighter..may cost a few more $$$ but well worth it...less damage to your system and to your self..great video brother

I am so glad I came across this video. I'm looking at a set of Volks to buy and restore and these were it. Lo and behold you guys are also in Central Texas. I think it's a sign I should buy the wheels and go to you.
@ballsachotdog3 жыл бұрын
Great video. Was hoping you could help me out. After you modified the wheel with the cake pan how did you handle the axel or rod? Did you have to cut it so it didn't stick out? Also, did you still just use a cotter pin to keep the wheel attached?
@hardstyle4life03 жыл бұрын
Yes I cut the rod/axle to the desired size. Alot of mocking and marking to get it where I wanted and then I created grooves and a hole for a cotter pin. I left some rod e posed just in case and any unwanted space I utilized washers as spacers to get the wheel to fender ratio exactly where I wanted it.
