Iiiiiiif you want to know how do we, Japanese people, feel about this scene, what’s the most moving thing in this scene is the change of Sanji’s language. He spoke in a way which he had never done before to Zeff, which is called “Keigo” in Japanese by the way. It’s the politest way to say thanks to someone for everything. There’s a dirty word in there, which you can hear as “kuso” in Japanese, but still really good because it’s so classic of Sanji, isn’t it?

Looking back on Sanji's first introduction and backstory with Zeff after Whole Cake Island, now I know why Sanji greatly respects and looks up to Zeff in a way that he'd bow down so low to express his gratitude for him. Not only did Zeff saved his life but he also gave Sanji a new purpose in life
