It is a totally wrong representation of Clodius. He was an independent politician. What facts do you have to support an idea that Clodius was Caesar's henchman?

Caesar was not away while Clodius descended. He led the ceremony where Clodius was "plebbed".

Well presented. I also enjoyed the medieval music. I've read the Canterbury Tales and Troilus and Cressida, wonderful poetry.

My favorite is his recurring nightmare about waking up one morning living in a palace with everyone else living in a tub in the marketplace.

Funny how he wasn't self sufficient, at all. His whole existence was dependent on other people. That's why he wasn't living in the forest or in some cave in the middle of nowhere. He would not have made it to 89 (apparently) alone in some cave. Or imagine Diogenes, the Farmer. Nobody would have remembered him. So one of his tenets is basically BS

Publius Clodius and his sisters inspirered Cicero to quip that " incest is a game the entire family can play " . Clodius never forgave that slur and years later his widow Fulvia held Cicero's severed head in her hands .

I think I would of liked this video alot more if you made this video. But then wrote a script based on what you said in this video. Its hard to follow. For me anyway

What’s with the corny music. There is a ton of beautiful music from this period of history, without having to resort to “the leprechaun in the kitchen crap”.. Otherwise the video is really very good.

I wouldn't call Clodius a hired hand.He was from the most aristocratic family in the republic. From what we know . Clodius was all about Clodius.

He was once found jerking off in the city plaza. While he was caught he said "wish it were as easy to banish hunger by rubbing the belly." Other time he was jerking off as well and said "happiness belongs to a man who rejects cultural norms".

Diogenes is the only ancient greek philosopher I respect. He rejected a society based on slave ownership to live a simple, natural existence, devoid of any of the products of civilisation, while continuing to live among the public and preach his philosophy.
