SUGGESSTION : In Step 2, you dont need to create an activity, you can create just the layout file. If we create new activity, we are unnecessarily create a new java class file, which we dont use at all.

I skipped the signup/signin activity. I just want to proceed to dashboard after the splash. But it's either the app crashed or the navigation drawer don't display. It's just a blank white screen. 😢
