I had the pleasure of meeting The Official Sonny Rollins Page and his wife Lucille back in the 80s. Now at 93 years old, Mr. Rollins remains a titan in the world of jazz. Here he is showcasing his mastery alongside David Sanborn on one of my favorite TV shows, Night Music, which was hosted by Sanborn. Sonny Rollins, an American tenor saxophonist, is celebrated as one of the most influential figures in jazz music. RIP David Sanborn!

RIP to the great David Sanborn. This show was a gift to the world above and beyond all the great music he did himself.

I remember the first time hearing this live on television in 1990. I loved it immediately and had to get the CD right away. I've been a fan of Keiko Matsui's ever since that first time hearing her and her accompanying musicians style of contemporary jazz music. Thank you so much for posting this as it brings back a lot of memories.

Omar Hakim the best. Contagious watching everyone having fun in this clip. Sanborn uses the same licks on every show. There are dozens of unknown session guitarist that can play as well as Hiram Bullock. He simply won the lottery getting on that show. Funk is the most to olay live.
