@@MrRourk No, it's completely different. A few different arts claim to have been passed down by "Anhai". It's not clear if he is just part of local myth or actually based on a real person. He is often said to be one of the Iron ancestors monks or one of their students in local myth. But the origins of those figures aren't clear either, although they seem to come from local folk religion. Different styles have different accounts of Anhai, where he was from, what his name was, who his teacher was, etc. most of them completely contradict each other. With golden lion it seems like Anhai's identity just got laid on top of the known ideniof the actual founder. But we really don't know, the people who wrote local histories rarely took any notice of martial artists aside from recording the names of graduates of military exams. There are at least 2 other names for Anhai Quan. But I can't think of them offhand and I think they are attached to specific family lines. But neither of them have anything to do with lions and golden lion is a very different style. I have posted a couple videos of Fuzhou golden lion in the past so you could probably search for those. Also almost all the videos I've posted have long written descriptions of the art and it's history in the video description section. Unfortunately the switch to people watching KZfaq primarily via cellphone has left that part kind of hidden unless you look for it.

I didn't, this is a video from the Fuzhou branch of the Chinese national arts survey which took place in the early to mid 1980's. It's purpose was to catalogue the traditional Chinese arts which remained after the end of the cultral revolution.

Northern, there are many different Taizu forms and styles all across China. Cangzhou is located in Hebei province not very far to the south of Beijing. If you click on the about part for the video, most of my videos have detailed written descriptions of the style and it's history.

It's a full system and still taught today. Look at the video description for historical background of the style on any of the videos I post. If you search "Yongtai Ji Fa" or "Yunling Ji Fa" around I think there should be at least one or two more recent newsclips I posted showing this system.

Sorry I have no idea. It's one of those styles that has been around for a while and spread across a relatively wide area. So each area is going to have a different mix of forms.
