What... no... dude, emulating games inside of games is not easy. Just because it was done before doesn't mean it can be done over and over again. Different consoles have different game engines and are built in different languages. Some languages don't always have the greatest support for emulation inside of other game engines, etc.

Never figured out why having a red cross on healing items and hospitals is illegal. In games, just like real life, it teaches the player it is a safe, neutral place to heal your wounds.

I think its just sad that, a symbol that is used for war, can’t also be used in a video game to portray the same sort of message, growing up thats how i learned the red cross was a sign of safety and aid if required now its just whatever colour a person chooses it to be because oh no it will take away from the symbol even though i believe its strengthened it more

A similar thing happened with Doom, if you play the original DOS version the medkits have red crosses on them but if you play any rerelease they're replaced by either pills or green crosses

hoping to shed more info on this: a red cross by itself is not a violation however, if it's a //red cross *on a white background*//, it is a violation since only those under the organization can wear and use this symbol/logo. it's a significant symbol along with its variations-to reiterate, /on white backgrounds/-so it can't be used wherever by just whoever for whatever purposes except by its members. but of course, if the member misuses it, they also violate the convention and are legally liable. hope this helps.

I’ve learned that the only games worth playing and putting significant effort and time into (imo) are ones that have been around for years and have active devs, like Warframe, RuneScape, wow, etc.

with the advant of Dark Souls and Elden Ring, and difficult games finding their niche of sorts, now would be the perfect time to bring back F-zero.

I’m ngl overwatch also takes alot of crap from older games It’s not always stealing though and the characters are much more unique in paladins there also is a lot of characters in general and I will say some of them can be similar And if they are saying that mostly because OW is a 5v5 fps Then they should know OW didn’t create this genre of game and even if it did, it would be ok for other games to be somewhat similar and use 5v5 or 6v6 fps OW doesn’t own that genre of games
