I worked at a factory at my last job, and I'm in the south, there's a lot of these. Well everyone that had one for some reason kept them on, one guy even told me he had to stick it back himself when it started coming off. It pissed me off to walk out to the parking lot everyday and see all the yellow and pink bits of plastic everyday, so I took em all off, and since it clearly states that it's supposed to be removed and therfore not a part of the sold product, it wasn't destruction of property.

Ughhh yeah they do it's a front splitter. Unless you drive like my grandma It creates a pressure difference between upper side and lower sides that effectively divides air flow in order to control air flow in front of a car. By doing so, balance and stability are greatly increased especially at high speed. Is this satire?

That is the adhesive residue left from pulling that front splitter off. Use some rubbing alcohol and it will come right off. Oh and rub.
