What is Glenn singing at the very last part of this song? I've seen the box set lyrics and I respectfully disagree with those, and the Left Hand book omits them.

It’s a morbid zombie love story, love is stronger than death.. Julie struggles to keep her hunger at bay despite the suffering she’s experiencing and maintaining her humanity as possible

I met Howie several times back in the 90's (during the heyday of Coney Island High) and he always had a lot of stories. Not sure if all of them were true, LOL. I think maybe he exaggerated some of them. I will say that he hooked us up with two grams of coke that was excellent quality.

I loved the first two Evil Dead films. Hated Army of Darkness when it came out; hate it now. And I loved the Three Stooges as a kid. The Evil Dead remake was a decent return to form. As for horror/comedy, I’m more into the likes of Return of the Living Dead and An American Werewolf in London. Both films succeed at being both scary and funny. For me, Army of Darkness fails at both. It felt like Xena or a Kevin Sorbo show. My two cents.

Awesome review. All were great actors who made the scenes seem real. That scene of the meeting is intense and the best part of the movie. I always thought that as well. RIP George Romero

If I'm not mistaken this same promoter got his ass beat by a member of Hospitals for pulling some other dumb shit. Easy to blame Jay, but I think it goes beyond that. Any number of bands would have done what Jay did there.

I met Howie a few times in the late 90's (always at Coney Island High, when we would drive up from Maryland for shows and crash with friends in the area) and he talked very candidly about his health problems even then, IV drug addiction had done the usual sad damage it always does. And yeah, Coney Island High was a very special place for a short period of time. Joey Ramone hung out a lot there, and you would see all the NYC punk personalities.

I know I’m late to the party but I’m Gonna have to disagree with Mike here. The vocals, especially with Glenn were top notch. That was one of the main reasons they stood apart from all of there contemporaries (At least on album studio/recordings). I know they had problems with sloppy live playing and to this day Danzig cuts off his own vocals from pulling away the microphone too soon, but c’mon man. Jack Grisham, Dave Vanian , Doug Bauer, Lee Ving all good singers but they couldn’t get within a light year of how good Danzig or even Graves were. I mean Danzig sounded like Roy Orbison or Elvis on any given day, thats pretty special for a punk band.

Unreal. We're going to need some proof that you have been following an Adderall course of treatment for at least 6 months before you are allowed near a microphone and camera again 😉👍

cool review man ! I saw this movie when it first came in video in around 1991 ( I was 10 years old in 1991) and your totally right....I dont feel this is a horror comedy at all.....its actually a very dark, and sad movie.....the movie is so sad and dark by the last 30 mins that it can bring tears to your eyes and make you feel choked up.
