The demon Firesage isnt the boss closest to the Bed of Chaos. Its the Centipede. If you consider the shortcut sure, but its not the way a first playthrough would take normally.

Shouldn’t the Soul of Cinder automatically scale above pretty much all the Lords of Cinder who already linked the first flame as by default it would have all of their powers, abilities, strength, skills, knowledge etc amalgamated into one along with every other being that successfully linked the first flame Lore wise I find it a little hard to believe that the beings you have to beat in order to get to the Soul of Cinder is stronger than the final test. And while the final boss doesn’t necessarily have to be the strongest boss lore wise, in this specific case due to what the Soul of Cinder represents, I think it does scale above everyone that has linked the flame in the past and those that are said to be able to currently

Lore-only? It's Gael. Gael had every bit of the Dark Soul in him with the exception of our own share, and the Dark Soul was at its strongest being so close to the Age of Dark. That puts him ahead of prime Gwyn, prime Vendrick, the Giant Lord, the Bed of Chaos, the Furtive Pygmy, even the Soul of Cinder.

Conceptwise i would say Slave Knight Gael. He was there when all the conflicts started and besides the player character, he is the last being alive in the end. In Darks Souls specifically. Not mentioning the others cause cosmic horros are unknowingly powerful if you can control it. Besides everyone should admit if we could control gravity in real life that would just be OP.

Every boss on DS1 was cake or 2nd try. Except ornstein and smough that boss fight took me around 50 attempts. I know this is for the lore and he said there’s more on his channel regarding that. But I thought they deserved some recognition for their difficulty in game🐐

Every piece of reference of item descriptions and dialogue mention Kalameet as a one eyed dragon, he clearly isn't if you zoom in into his face. But the people of Oolacile and Lordran view him as so. Things can often be overlooked or misunderstood.

For me Gwyn is still the most powerful enemy we ever face. To my knowledge we cant even scratch an ancient dragon in any darksouls games but Gwyn killed thousands with ease.
