I was there in the front row getting crushed. My brother was one of the guys continually stage diving. Lost one of my shoes on the first song. Best concert ever.

I saw them this tour, must have been just before or after. I was a sudent at UW Madison, saw them at the Paramount (long gone) with Orange 9mm and Quicksand. Still have the ticket stub - it was Nov. 20

I’ve watched this countless times. This whole band was super tight as if they practiced this set every day 100x for the last 300 years

I can see that Turnstile in my opinion the best recently recorded music so many influences of 90s post hardcore bands like these guys just a little sped up. Also Living Color and Faith no more keyboards supporting very simple riffs and funk bass lines that make them so much like 😢 post grunge bands that should have progressed years ago bit we had to wait and libe through bands like Creed who were so bad in my opinion it was loke spitting in the face of legends loke Eddi Veder and Jerry Cantrell who contributed so much to rock music just to have shitty bands who say they were influenced busy these Seatlle bands but other then tunning there guitars to drop D makes them good as well ajd it made them money just another reason to hate these quote on quotes bands so much more.

No way! I was at this show! Freshman year of college, total snow and ice storm, secret show at a total dive in the outskirts of the city., we still made it. I'm down front somewhere. Can't believe I ran across this! What an awesome night.

that’s fucking awesome dude! is the audio from this bootleg acccurate to how it sounded? did the guitars sound brighter than this in person or is this spot on? i wonder because as a VHS recording it’s bound to sound a little muffled lol

1994 was an incredible year for music. Most of the music played on rock radio is from 1994 even to this day.

Just Another Victim 🤘🏻John killing it on drums... without him it's not Helmet anymore... his grooves and special style made you move like no other... sure Page and all the rest made there contribution... and all together are Helmet... but Stanier's style is what stands out beside the guitar work ;-) many thx for sharing!

100% agreed. all of pages riffs were awesome but the really simple ones just wouldn’t hit nearly as hard if john wasn’t the drummer. the verse riff on “in the meantime” is as simple as possible but johns drumming turns it into the filthiest groove. same with songs like street crab or high visibility too in my opinion. super simple riffs that wouldn’t be nearly as heavy if it wasn’t for john

Always been a big fan of Helmet, didn't get to see them in the 90's but did see them twice in Adelaide 2008 and 2011 in Oz just Page left out of original lineup, 08 they played entire Meantime album backwarda lots of fun. Page is a very cool down to earrh guy who hung out after with fans chatting signing shirts albums etc. I didnt have a Helmet shirt or album but Page very kindly signed my Ministry Psalm 69 shirt, I said to him "You kniw Al Don't you" With a big grin he replied "I do". Awesome night 😅

I absolutely LOVE how slow and controlled TIC is here. Their current drummer is good but he rushes the songs a LOT. Stanier is king.

there’s a handful of shows where they’d open with unsung they would usually open with role model or milktoast during this era. super good opener though! especially with the buildup intro. that shit is iconic

i love they way they’d break into iron head after the feedback solo thing at the end of tic! they did that a lot during this and the aftertaste era. such a cool way to make the setlist. all that abstract noise and feedback then suddenly break into one of their heaviest grooviest riffs. the crowds always lost their minds. there’s a lot of old shows on youtube where they did rhat
