Is there a contrast adjust parameter for the left screen, because it is very bright, when sitting(not standing) in front of the keyboard. i don't see any specific knob that can do that, but maybe some software parameter somewhere...if not would that be something to include in a future firmware update?

Despite the beautiful sound. it's all been there before. All those shimmers and floating tonality - laptops and midi keyboards handle it all. Soon AI will be here too. Maybe it's time to get some old processor out of storage, drill a hole in it, stick a lamp in it and epoxy it up in the hope of getting something extraordinary?

I just bought a CP88 about a month ago. Your tips have sped things along for me. I'll write here what I posted in a Facebook page for the CP88 ... I'm new to the CP88 and stumbled upon a few videos that gave great 'hidden' tips. The KZfaq channel, Yamaha Synths Official, has some really good tips. I'll pass on three tips that I'm using, this isn't a big deal, but it makes the interface more interesting. The first tip from that KZfaq channel - having the start up / default Live Set page be whatever you want it to be. The default Live Set, when you power up, is 1-1, I changed that to Live Set 16-1. Since my CP88 is still quite new for me, I'd rather not write over the included Live Sets until I go through all of them. The CP88 comes with 15 pages of Live Sets already pre loaded. My own personal Live Sets start on page 16 and I have the CP88 open to 16-1 when I turn it on. Another tip from that Yamaha Synths Official page - having the LED lights on for all sections even when the section is in the off position. This would come in handy in a live situation if you want to bring in another voice but want to 'see' the levels (or adjust them beforehand) before you add them to the mix. That's a very handy feature that I might have overlooked had it not been for Yamaha Synths Official KZfaq page. Another tip from that Yamaha Synths Official channel - being able to add _any_ sound to _any_ section by going into Settings / Advanced Mode. Here you could have all three sections layer three different pianos or three different Rhodes ... whatever. Without engaging Settings / Advanced mode, you would be limited to just having one piano sound in a layer, for example. I might have stumbled upon this after going through the entire menu, but that video sped things along for me. Just passin' this on. If anyone has anything along these lines to add, please do so.

No me parece nada innovador . A esta altura deberían absorber sonidos de estructuras que aún nadie ha oído y se encuentran desde los apliques y roces de partículas de los robots de Elon.

Naaah, too heavy, too expensive!!! That thing is a building! Many other synths have similar sounds (including Yamaha), less expensive, less heavy.

It's another trap. In a year or two you'll be bored to death with it and looking to sell for one of these reasons.. -Takes too much space -Tired of keybed -Overkill -Bored with the sounds and technology after realizing many other products do just about the same thing Stick to your cheap DX7

These are great tutorials. Thanks for sharing. The one thing that I suspect many aren’t experiencing is these sounds being pumped through a quality sound system. The Pure Analog Circuit 2 using the balanced outputs is substantially better.

Dear Matt, it would be very kind of yours if you transformed this beautiful sound - presented here and available on Soundmondo - into a preset for the new Montage M. "Lyle's World", "FM Nirvana" and "Deamy EP with Lead" are only accessible for the orginal Montage. These three sounds are very special and I would appreciate it very much to use them on my Montage M8x. Thanks a lot for your presentation right here on this channel!
