I went hiking on a less used trail in national park recently, found a dumped hot water system, asbestos, a pile of clothes half a metre high and an entire children's wardrobe and bedroom set dumped in the bush. And someone had stolen the toilet lid from the dunny in the carpark. And the sink. And the pipes. People are animals when they think no one is looking.

I have been down that line with a load on the trailer but coming down I can get the trailer round the chicken track, which, for what I'm doing, makes more sense. But if it's just me and I'm not on a job, I'll have some fun with the hard lines. Some places I don't have a choice with a truck and trailer and have to take the hard lines.

4wdQLD have done a full weekend cleanup with numerous clubs taking section each on Kgari every year for a while. Part of the problem is the rubbish from the ocean not just grubs at camp.

Yeah I'm aware of their big money making "cleanup". Eurong Eco Retreat, formerly Drop Bears, do a bunch of beach clean ups in conjunction with Ocean Crusaders. They're an amazing organisation. Look them up. They don't just appear to be doing the right thing, they actually get at it, all year round. 👌 But yeah I don't need to be part of any organised and sponsored event, neither does anyone else. We can all do our bit and pick up a few things, since we all have a rubbish bag with up when camping. 👍

I've had a two day recovery of the biggest clown on the tracks 😂 me. I got 20od grand saved n 🤞 they'll be a mog out Ipswich way lightning the load. Just keep seeing the crap further than i can reach currently.

@@TruBluOffroad Thanks. I've been through a bunch of scrub tracks that are about an hour or two west of Brisbane. I thought the scrub in your video looked similar, so had wondered if it was somewhere around that area. I wasn't correct, but I wasn't far off either. Thanks again

I do enjoy the longer videos mate. I would love the multiple angles however its not practical when you are running solo. Ill happily take what you can put up 😊😊. Was this the patrol that I tagged you in?

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah it's a challenge on my own and trying to get footage while doing an paid recovery job, plus more cameras means more files to transfer and more editing but, I'll definitely try to change things up from what everyone is saying. No, this one was from a couple months back. That one you tagged me in the other day, did end up getting hold of me and yep, it was pretty soft out there. I'll put a short vid together from that. @Lee-in-oz yeah I'm looking for options. Needs to be set up tough because the last thing I want to do it smash it off going through overgrown branches. Maybe if my channel was huge and I was earning money from it. But not going to too much expense or effort just yet.

maybe for these long ones have multiple cameras so you can change view and a Inclinometer in the corner of the vid. as said b4 a explanation of reasons for line taken and other tips maybe not when on the road but a voice over and take you audio from outside the cab if doing voice over so we aint hearing chip and dale chatting away

nice vid but hard to watch. the FPS is too low to watch comfortably. Try to record and upload in 32 FPS even if lower resolution. Some cheaper cameras claim 30 or 32 FPS, but only provide doubled up 15. The nighttime scenes from a different camera are easier to watch but not of interest, really.

In some cases I think its a good opportunity to explain how your picking your lines, what your looking for, what to look out for, what not to do. There was a good tip about the direction of the branches laying on the ground that can penetrate the tyre walls.. there is some room to do "Like this,Do that" teaching as well..nice work mate.
