If you want to come to Romania, do NOT come to Bucharest. This city is totally f...up, because of uncontrolled and chaotic real estate development, this city has become a pollution nightmare, chaotic traffic, aggressive drivers, bad and narrow roads with no parking spaces and a lot of dust in the air.

Supongo que por nivel de vida te refieres a tener ya dinero (por ser rico de familia o por trabajar para otros países) e irte a vivir a Rumanía con ese dinero, porque en Rumanía los sueldos son terriblemente bajos y los Rumanos suelen tener que irse a otros países para trabajar una década o dos y luego volver con ese dinero, si acaso vuelven. Rumanía es de mis países preferidos, pero hay que ser honesto. En Barcelona pagas 900 euros por un apartamentito, pero tienes toda la inmensidad de cosas que puedes hacer en Barcelona y toda la oferta cultural, laboral y de todo tipo. En Timisoara pagas el equivalente a 300 Euros por un apartamento bastante decente (eso antes porque ahora los precios se están yendo por las nubes), pero no hay nada, aparte de un centro pequeñito que es muy bonito. En Cluj-Napoca los precios son elevadísimos, para ser una ciudad media. Pero desde luego todo depende del tipo de vida que quieras tener. Yo particularmente me gusta vivir en Rumanía, siendo español, porque me gusta la cultura, la gente es cercana, los entornos son muy particulares, la diversidad del país, me gusta esa mezcla de arquitectura austrohúngara antigua, con de pronto entornos soviéticos, las iglesias antiguas ortodoxas, la música, etc Para vivir en Rumanía por largo tiempo te tienen que gustar todas esas cosas y peculiaridades, porque si no igual no compensa. Y que la fuente de ingresos venga desde fuera, porque en Rumanía puede ser complicado.

I am a Romanian that moved to Canada long time ago and now considering to move back to Romania on Canadian pension. To be in Europe and explore, that is the goal. So I don't care where I live, as long as it's safe and has good internet and mobile signal. My main concerns are about renting, are there any protections for the renter, or you are at the mercy of your landlord, to revise your rent or even terminate at their will? Also I found no information on how to get the papers again, but that probably I can figure out.

About parking in Romania, as a tourist, I tried to download that app and register, but it only accepts Romanian addresses. How are tourists supposed to pay for parking? There's really no alternative. So in the town that i was, I purchased a one month parking pass (you have to go to a town hall office), and that did it for me. And is not expensive. But the fact that the app doesn't accept foreign citizen info is SUPER ANNOYING.

Been debating if i should say this but even if you get upset, it's better to know than not to so here we go, electric vehicles are better in every way possible, performance, safety, comfort, convenience, cost so try to sell this truck in 2-3 years )not longer) and get an electric one. The internal combustion engine is like the steam engine, hugely outdated, few people know it for now but more and more are figuring that out - in 3 years from now (most likely some 2.15 years actually), more than half of the new cars sold in the European Union will be BEV (battery electric vehicle) and in 4-5 years it gets to 80% so depreciation for internal combustion vehicles will accelerate a great deal and the truck will lose value fast. The math is simple, sales were at around 20% last year and they grow at 50% per year - while being impacted (up or down) by the state of the economy, subsidies and so on. Anyway, there are tents (for trucks) that have heating but they kinda cost a bunch more.

Well, the gas part applies mostly during winter and colder days. Technically during summer, you wouldn't consume much. Secondly, the electricity has run up in the past years and part of it has to do with the speculation from traders. You can however change your electricity provider and find one with the lowest prices. If you move to the countryside and have a little bit of land you can make your own food and it tastes completely different to what you find in the supermarkets and life gets so much cheaper and healthier because you are away from noise, and pollution, you can grow your own food, we got great and cheap internet so if you work from home, Bob is your uncle. Also, a lot of expats have been moving to Romania which means that even if you don't speak romanian you can still find people to hang out with. Good luck with your channel.
