what a great video. thankyou for sharing it. i like the way you kept your speed and course so as to let the dolphins come to you and therefor we got a much better closer longer view... thankyou

Awesome video....We have a boat in south shore our first year there...What sort of speed were you doing ? They seemed effortless in keeping up with you.

Wasn't keeping too much of an eye on speed but probably 15 - 20 knots. They could power away effortlessly when they wanted to!

Thanks for that Peter...We hope to get lucky and see some more pods on our travels up and down the Coast. We saw one solitary dolphin surface in the bay a week or so back but nothing like the experience you had here...Great to see.

Fabulous film Peter. Actually, these are White-Beaked Dolphins, not Bottlenose from Scotland. These are normally an offshore rather than coastal species but occasionally approach the coast like this. Sometimes they come together in huge "super pods" numbering hundreds!
