We're from the Midwest, but we stopped at Boyd's barn in 2005 on our summer trip that included Washington DC, Ft. McHenry, Gettysburg, Antietam, and Cumberland, MD for a ride on the steam train. Our sons were six and nine the time (now 25 and 28 - yikes), and for them, the stop at Boyd's was one of the many highlights of that memorable trip. Today I ran across photos from that trip including the boys posing in front of the Boyd's barn, which made me wonder if it's still in business. I'm sad to see that it is not, but at the same time, I'm not surprised. It's just one of many ways the world of 2024 has changed since 2005.

Perhaps a naive question, but why turn a faucet on before draining through the pressure tank valve? It seems like you would want the pressurized water to assist with the gravity flush, but turning the faucet on depressurizes the lines.

3M filtrete 1900 - merv 13, but also twice the media as most merv 8's on the market (1,560 sq. in) so they do not clog up fast, or create static pressure build up any faster then the typical merv 8. Oh, but they do collect smaller particulate matter MUCH better than nay merv 8 on the market (including particulates from wildfire smoke) - which equates to cleaner coils, less work for your motor etc, and FAR better overall air quality in your home. It's a no brainer. My residential HVAC heating/cooling system (Maytag) is close to 20 yrs old. Other than changing out a pressure switch yrs ago, not a single issue. I change the 3M 1900 every 4-6 weeks in summer, 8 weeks when snow is on the ground.

I have this gun and also the 4095 Carbine rifle. Both are very good weapon's and you need to at least sight it in if you plan on hitting anything (adjust your aim). Your going to have to put a bit more effort in testing this gun. Seems like you had a negative opinion from the start.

Bro. Don’t be lazy putting the boots on and off. 😂. I’ve had this same pair of boots for 8 months now and wear them everyday. Amazing for 25 dollars. I was a firefighter for 13 years and my duty boots were very close to these. These boots you do need to add insoles and boom. Problem solved. I’ve bought boots from wal mart as well and they were close to this same quality but paid close to 45-50 for boots and there really isn’t a big difference. Honestly these are the only shoes I’ve liked off Temu. So I was army 5 years then 13 as a firefighter. I’m telling you. These boots also have a steel toe you failed to mention. From an army vet and firefighter. And after 8 months of use. I’m saying these boots are pretty damn cool for 25 - 35 dollars. Wear them with insoles of your choice and then do a review on them !!! These boots are great on a budget. Just make sure you add insoles and your GOOD TO GO !!! 🫡 Oh I failed to mention I have sent many pairs of these to my brothers in arms in Ukraine and they have all worn these same exact boots into combat WITH INSOLES and they were very happy soldiers !!!!

I got a gate post on a slope, so I put the post in 8' deep with 18 80lb sacks of concrete. I hit the post with my trailer loaded with an excavator and knocked it out of plumb about 4 inches. I think I'm going to wiggle it around a bit more to make it looser, and then poor about 6 sacks of mortar back into it hoping it will set again. Otherwise, I have to put a brace and bla bla bla. Don't back a trailer into a sloped driveway at midnight dog tired!!

I've only tried two. The blackberry is awesome, especially with lemonade. The Black Cherry was a little too medicinal for me. It's better with ginger ale than lemonade. I'm gonna try it with sprite and a few other things just to finish the bottle.

idk if you remember them or not but penrose sausages that came in a glass bottle? ConAgra foods bought the original company and took them off the market for almost 7/8 years. Had so many complaints from us older folks. So they took the penrose recipe and just made big fat single link sausages instead of the original mini sausages that came in the jar. Tastes no where near the same as that big mama. Another good thing from my youth screwed up. Great video papa bear.

Actually what you need to do is pump up 200 or 300 Gal of water to a tank, add the bleach to that water, then drain that water bleach mix back into the well in order to drive the mix back into the porous minerals at the bottom of the well.
