From my experience most gay children and youth have had their first sexual encounter with a much older man and have been taken advantage of. This is something we can't admit or honestly talk about in the community. This is a terrible terrible beginning for an adult sexual life!

I am 50 years old. Had sex with only 6 men in my life and with five I was in (from my side) committed relationships! I didn't miss out on anything because I loved my men! 4 of them outed with me. Being with someone who is confused and insecure of their sexuality took the last bit of energy out of me time. Every time I end up being dropped and the men move on to "explore"! Somebody once told me this happens to me because I have never outed myself "officially". That is why I want to experience outing again and again - by helping them. We have read several testimonials and non-acceptance is the same anywhere in the world. Some leave the closet and others stay. In the end, few end up staying together. I live in Brazil and now gay couples are becoming more common. The other day at the market near my house I let two boys pass the shopping in front of me, I asked if they were friends, they said they were boyfriends, I said: Wow, that's cool, I felt their happy reaction. I'm still in the closet and the funniest thing is that few of my relationships, even though they were short, were all straight and most were my friends. The film is a shame that the conflict of accepting oneself ended this way. AND! I thought it was different in other countries. I don't know English, I used Google Translate. Vielen Dank! Selber war ich amerikanischer Soldat in Wertheim am Main, in der Nähe von Frankfurt stationiert. Ich schaffte meine Coming out zu der Zeit. Das war 1974-76 und mußte alles sehr viel entdeckt. Ich habe mein herrliches Hochdeutsch sehr schnell gelernt, weil ich die schönen Deutscher Junx in ihrer Muttersprache kennenlernen. Alright so i got here by 2024 but i must leave some comments about my favourite details in this short movie: 1. You can see the love Mike has for Aeron in every of his look he gives Aeron, it’s soft and butterfly. They said the eyes cannot lie 2. Aeron is a pleaser when Mike’s the opposite, you can tell by the way Aeron not dare to tell his dad his shirt look bad but Mike just straightfoward speak that out in the “watching movie together” scene. Same that Aeron chose to break up with Mike because he doesn’t wanna upset his dad 3. Mike is way more matured and brave than Aeron. They don’t talk about who is older in this movie but i think Mike’s already got some life experiences and can be a good protector for Aeron. You can see it thru the way Aeron asked Mike how he can be so cool with it and Mike said he just deal with it. 4. When Mike said to Aeron he doesn’t just like him, he means he wants to be with Aeron. It’s not just like you like someone randomly and just wanna chill with them, it’s like you wanna spend the whole life with them, you guys know what i mean P/s: English is not my first language but i hope my explanation makes sense tho. Anyways, appreciate this movie, it will go on forever ❤
