Concorde... El único avión que te deja en el hotel! 🤣🤣🤣

When I used to drive a London taxi, Concord used to set off all the alarms on the cabs. Waiting in the feeder park with our fingers in our ears. What a noise it made, at 19.00 each evening.

You can have feminism, DEI and transgender rights OR you can have a meritocracy with supersonic commercial aircraft. You can't have both. Choose wisely Western Man.

I sat in a ck ckede once when it was only on the ground. We took a tour of the BA hangar at Hatton Cross when I was a kid with a party of summer school kids and I sat in Joan Collins' fave seat (maybe in aisle/seat 7 perhaps). I also won a small gift set for guessing the toilet cost £40k to fit. Amazing plane.

3:47 that's not fog close to the ground, that's fog created by the rapid pressure (and therefore temperature) drop above the wing as the plane tilts upwards! I've only been on Concorde in a museum, sadly.

It's crazy there weren't more disasters at takeoff. There's no aborting just a few seconds after full throttle.
@hoedemakerbart12 күн бұрын
Actually there would have been zero disasters if Concorde used a seperate runway then the commercial jets

Humans concord the moon in 1959 and since then never happened and had supersonic planes and now nothing... I thought we are now technologically advanced? How do you explain that? It makes no sense

NASA had a huge budget for that, the US government was competing with the commies and they were willing to throw alot of money at it. NASA now has to fight for every measly dollar they can get and they have to devote those funds to multiple things. The concorde was horribly inefficient for fuel, could only have 100 passengers and were expensive to run. Also not many people wanna pay $12 000 for a ticket.

I happened to blink and half this flight was over. Such a very small interior just like the first lear jets. Wasted foot is teribble to see when such a high quality of time and effort put into this main meal.

That was not fog at the start. That was condensation caused by the low pressure on top of the wings because or the steep angle of attack

Can’t believe the Concorde flight only took 16 mins 14 seconds. Such an impressive feat of engineering.

some parts of the video were cut off or id be too long of a video. Paris crossing the Atlantic should take about 2 hours.

The Concorde is such a beautiful machine. I wish they did shows at least where you could go look at it and see it take off. In my city once a year the fighter jets do a show flying over the city and its amazing. So loud! They used to do a dump and burn where the fuel is on fire after it comes out of the plane.

Not fog close to the ground. Did you see any fog? Are you stupid? That's induced vapour formation in the low pressure areas of the wing, brought about by the increased AOA of the wing at rotate.
@GShopen7219 күн бұрын

Thank you for sharing this with us all. I dearly loved this beautiful piece of engineering and social history. It brought the world closer together. The thing about this aircraft is, that so many people, even if they never had the good fortune to fly her (like myself) always have a story or two to share about an experience with her. I had a dear friend, now sadly no longer with us who worked for British Airways for most of his life. He was part of the ground crew for Concorde, he had one of those old Nokia 3310 style phones for absolutely years with this tyreprint case and sellotape over the screen. When everyone started to get modern phones and he stuck with his old Nokia we asked him why and it was because he accidentally dropped it as Concorde was being pushed and started and the landing gear had run the phone over. Being a Nokia, it still worked but the screen cracked and he aerosol lacquered over the tyre print to preserve it 😅
