Fucking went through some 10 tutorials online and couldn't for the life of me figure out what I was doing wrong, until you come and say "make sure to close HidHide." No other tutorial I found mentioned that, I was thinking "of course I need it open right." Works perfectly now, thanks man

Rainmeter program, it had a lot of skins that u can put. The one i m using is called droptop4 or droptopfour. I recommend checking URIM BERISHA channel on youtube he does alot of skins on rainmeter and have tutorials. If u need extra help setting it up tell me

@@SlayferFN depends which windows you have , 10 or 11 ? if yo uright click on taskbar u can set it to be hidden and jonly show when you hover your mouse on the very bottom of the screen

so i did this and now my controller isnt being detected lol. I did everything and when i booted up elden ring it wasnt working so i went to ds4 and my controller was disconnected. okay so i restarted my computer and ds4 found my controller works now

All good now ?. ( Maybe it didnt work the first time cause u had hidhide still open, for some rzason ds4windows wont recognize the controller if you have hidhide window still open, otherwise it shouldnt require a pc restart. But as long as everything is good now, have fun. )

@@SynisterGatess07 yeah everythings good. i had everything closed like its supposed to be but my controller was just gone lol. but after restarting i redid everything and it was fine idk. boutta get cooked in this game its my first souls game ill try to have fun lmao

HidHide won't install. There is a problem with the register for some reason. "Failed to register in autostart. Failed to open registry key"

Check if you have the fake xbox controller also hidden in the hidhide , and make sure you added ds4windows in the exception list in hidhide. I never heard the error before but i would check those first

i get to see 2 controllers in hidhide first sony computer Entertainment wireless connector and second sony Interactive Entertainment wireless connector check boxing either one of them shows shared access key and gamepad tester works in mirosoft edge and still appears in joy.cpl if i check box both i get hidhide access key but controller doesnt work in games but touch pad works as mouse though

never heard of this issue , try using your controller with a cable first . and maybe uninstall the ps controlelr drivers from your pc then re try

@@SynisterGatess07 i found the fix for that ,sony Interactive Entertainment wireless connector doesnt appear in hidhide and joy.cpy that was just to check mark the hide ds4 controller in settings in ds4 application , but i get tick mark as exclusive access key but not hidhide access key and controller doesnt respond just in games

hello when i wanna play '' apex legends '' using steam and i enter the game the touchpad reacts as a mouse and when i touch it the character looks left or right and i have already launched ds4windows and disabled the touchpad reaction and the same on steam and its still the same problem if u could help that would be lovely :> thanks

No idea really , maybe bind touchpad to a useless button in ds4windows ? Make sure the controller is using the correct edited profile. For me i keep the touchpad as mouse so idk really.
