Because you obviously care about the facts, I hope you won't mind my correcting something you said that perpetuates a misconception many people easily get confused about John Wesley's having founded the Methodist Church in Savannah. Actually he founded the Methodist Church in England, a number of years after his missionary service in Georgia. All of his ministry in Savannah and Georgia was done as a member of the clergy of the Church of England. In Savannah he was rector of Christ Church - in the original church structure on the same Johnson Square site as the current Christ Church sanctuary! The Wesley quote provided in the historic marker in Reynolds Square you show in the video (11:26) does not clarify when and where Methodism was established. But it also does not claim that Methodist Church was founded in Savannah - only that Wesley said that meetings here helped influence the "rise of Methodism."

I put some beers in the freezer and now they've got some of those icy bits floating around. It's boiling hot this summer. The temperature in the house is 80 and that feels cool compared to outside. I have a long list of problems like any person, but tonight I have a comfy chair, a desktop computer with internet access, some chilled brews and a bed to retire to. The barn that you stopped at between Glen Arbor and Leland was my son’s great great grandmother’s. I live very close to that. The Fourth of July is the busiest weekend of the entire year. You missed so many cool things. Reach out to me if you’re ever coming back I can give you some tips. I highly recommend coming before the Fourth of July. There is a lot less people, although it is still crazy busy after memorial day. The 45th parallel is just south of Leland. There’s a sign on the side of the road.

There is no driving on the SleepingBear Sandunes since the park service took over. There used to be dune rides back in 60s and 70s. If you go down to Ludington to the Silver Lake Sandunes, you can drive on those.
