Love this video. I only just realized that popcorns were different and were wondering why the shape was different. Thanks for the information.

Most field corn is feed corn, for animal consumption as a source of feed / food. I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about. Sweet corn is grown for corn on the cob, and is usually not the corn you see in the fields. Then you don’t edit out your misinformation, but add a correction at the end ? Lazy. Trash video. Minnesota is huge producer of corn. You run a popcorn company ?

my understanding is that mushroom popcorn is used for caramel or cheese corn because it is more durable when stirred with the coating mixture unlike butterfly corn which crumbles into tiny pieces.

Small bags of mushroom popcorn are grossly overpriced. They're total ripoffs. I'm happy with a gourmet-quality, yellow butterfly popcorn that comes in much larger bags. Not cheap, but it makes great caramel and cheese popcorns.

For everyone asking for the cheese recipe take 3 tbsp of coconut oil and heat it for around 15 seconds and add in roughly 3 tbsp of cheese powder. For the best taste try to get it made with real cheddar. Heat it again for 15 seconds stir well and drizzle about one third over the popcorn and shake in a large bowl with a lid. Add a little more and shake until its all incorporated. Shake in a circular motion rather than up and down. Make it 3 heaping tbsp for a more cheesy flavor. Be careful bc it can get really strong. Youre welcome.
