This is just so very good I don't know what else I can say! Funny, tender, a bit angry - very well done:) Also a good reminder that men lie, too - because obviously Lucille's version is the true one - come on, does Lucille look like a woman who has had four babies?! We are human beings and as we tend to say to err is human. Two diffrent versions.that may refered to as the unreliable narrator/s,I guess. like is the case in the novel of Henry James :The turn of the Screw. Kenny Rogers tells us a story and Elzé Rose a totally diffrent one.whicj you think i should trust??!!😂

The song "Lucille" introduced me to country music, my favourite genre to date. I was fresh out of high school. I related to the song soo well since I was nursing a massive heartbreak from a girl named Lucy. 7 years later, I have stumbled on "Lucille's" response. Well guys, let me tell you something: Just like Lucy, she's lying😂. Anyway, the response is a nice song with soul touching vocals. I have added a song on the list of my favourites.
