I gotta get fit. I miss dancing so much. Dancing can be everything if you let it. dancing can be like a drug. dancing can take away all your worries. just let yourself go and f*ck what anyone thinks. It used to be that way for me. Im coming back baby!

A little story time I remember being 17 going on 18 in 1976-77 every Friday and Saturday the 'ELECTRIFYING SOUNDS OF APP' would come to the park it had two entrances Linden or Grove Street to DJ right out of his white van I used to help with getting the electricity from the street light pole he would situate his speaker about and ROCK the entire park sometime it got so intense that the police would shut APP down only to start again later the rock dance competitions were enormous and music was plentiful here are some of the music off hand that I remember 1) BABY HUEY - LISTEN TO ME. 2) JAMES BROWN - SEX MACHINE. 3) BOBBY BYRD - I'M COMING. 4) BARRABA - WOMAN. 5) THE MEXICAN BABE RUTH FIRST BASE 5) RARE EARTH - GET READY. 6) INCREDIBLE BONGO BAND- APACHE, ETC ETC ETC........THERE ARE MORE basically they rock to this music. Time to say goodbye thanks for the memories. By the way, BUZ the original BUZ is my brother-in-law we don't talk for certain reasons, my brother designed the VEST TOUCH OF ROCK WORE the colors were blue and white, white lettering with white trimmings. and to think today I am 66 years old god bless to all.

Fantastic interview. Although Newcleus can be known for the chipmunk sounds, they also made some very musical classics. Push the Button definitely influenced techno.

Uncle Papi was the family photographer and videographer. We always got together at his and wife Mercedes home. Nice to see the Christmas video with our young brother Bobby all deck out in a new suit, coat & hat and me with a life size doll. Our cousins & family. Yankee stadium on 161st street train station. The 1964-65 World's fair in Flushing Meadows, Queens. Josie was Mercedes sister. She was a lovely lady and married a wonderful man, John.

I met him in '77 or so NYC. He's ( as I remember ) from Ohio. He ran aroung with King Louie, another Pimp, who he claimed was his brother. He had a gang of girls. Used to brand 'em, tie em up, all that kinda shit ! Had this little blonde white ho named Terry. All I can say is he was dedicated to the life.
