That's beyond worn out, almost looks impossible for it to be that loose, I bet there was a bronze guide liner in there

Great video, I am about to do this myself on my 455. How much air pressure did you have going into the cylinder and was it simply connected the whole time or did you have a cut off valve holding the pressure in the cylinder? Thanks!
@Itsjustbriz10 ай бұрын
I just left the pressure applied while I did the work. Used the hose from my compression tester to screw into the plug hole. Only springs I could not do was the #8 due to no room cause of the A?C evap box.

Very nice buick! You said on v8buick that you were running 15x10 with 4.5 BS and 15x8 with 4 BS correct? Is it these wheels in the video?
@Itsjustbriz Жыл бұрын
In this vid those are not the wheels I mentioned on V8. New wheels are Keystone Classics. The BS on the rears are 4.10 and I had to add a 3/16 spacer to push it out just far enough to not rub on the backing plate. I believe there is another vid showing that clearance issue.

Try a inline high pressure fuel pump, the oil pumped thru would be about a cup, fit a oil pressure switch ground to a relay, when pressure sufficient STARTER comes to life, a check valve between pump and filter sandwich, also a small cooler between sump plug barb and pump inlet. , never hear chain rattle or big ends ever again. . Why kill your motor with cranking without oil pressure, that’s plain dumb

Here's the link to the playlist. kzfaq.info/sun/PLWAOqkMqDXNhNl9deiMwaN4X407vT4d_X Also, here's a reference video, the vehicle in the video is a 1972 Dodge Challenger.
