This is great info. I’ve always been petrified of my AC unit, but this looks super easy. Thanks.

I noticed you were wearing a flannel shirt when filming the video! I would recommend that you check your pressure during the heat of the day. Refrigerant will expand in warmer temperatures, which will result in higher pressure. Additionally, when adding Refrigerant in cooler temperatures, you may mot get a “Full” charge on your AC System. Lastly, look at you AC/Refrigerant label/tag on your vehicle. Along with the type of Refrigerant, it typically tells you the capacity in Grams. Also, if you’re AC System has leaked down, you typically will have a vacuum leak that has occurred at a connection from a bad an O-Ring, or a pin hole in your Evaporator or Condenser Coil, and if this is the case you would generally not get a full charge on your AC System. But, I would first suggest rechecking your pressure in the heat of the day and after your vehicle has run for 1-Hour! The above has been my experience when recharging my AC with 1234-yf Refrigerant. Great and Helpful Video.

Love how you suggest where things would look good in your home or how you could utilize them. Sometimes I get lost while shopping for home decor because I love everything and then don't know where I would use things. Great video. Keep them coming!

Sorry in advance, but this is not a fix, it is a band aid.

Yes, you are correct. It all depends on the severity of the leak I would suppose.

It's a band aid but one can put this bandaid for less than $20.00 a year.@@KellyRaeCreates

Well, Sometimes all the vehicles without leaking with the years loose some refrigerant as well when they are in not to much in use, the rule is check for all the leaks areas as hoses, evaporators, front and sometimes rear, ac compressor control valve, etc, if you rule out all those and is not problem at all to fill the Freon level as she wish !! Blessings!!!

that R1234YF is too expensive, and its dangerous. its flammable!! make sure there is no spillage while the engine is running or you're gonna have a bad day

Great film with a lot of useful information. My case is more complicated, since I have a small leak I need to find, but I've learned many useful facts fm/this film, like how exactly to shake the can (in some films they flip it over, in some say: you need to keep it vertically, in some: don't do 90 degrees, in some: do 90 degrees - very confusing for the beginner), or that part about pressure monitoring. Here everything is clear and with all the details. I replaced all the parts of my AC system, besides the Evaporator, Compressor, and Liquid Line (Expansion Valve - to - Drier Line), but I've never charged the system before. I'll definitely be using this film. Thank you very much.

@@KellyRaeCreates Thank you for your concerns. I found that leak like 2-3 days ago by pressurizing AC system w/air, it was on the compressor seam. I thought to try that old compressor, which was in the system before, but now I know it is leaking. As far as I understand the leaking compressor needs to be replaced, so I ordered a new one and just need to replace it. Hopefully it is the only leak.

Great video. I did this to my 2016 Trailhawk recently and had similar issues when refilling. I've got the exact same gauge/trigger. On the Renegade's system, i think the a/c compressor doesn't run all the time and so there is a subtle timing issue as to when you need to press the trigger, which I never really figured out! At first I couldn't get the gauge to move much at all, but eventually got to the mid-green position and stopped there. All good ever since. Keep going with the vids, you're a natural 🙂

Well I think the last lines is what made it look more like wood. I think before those, it was looking more like stone. Which is a pretty cool effect as well. I think you definitely you made an improvement. Much easier than stripping and sanding to get to the bare wood. I ❤ RH but not those prices.

Could you show how you made the lines on it in the end?? I really liked that effect!
@KellyRaeCreates

Yes, I achieved this by just dry brushing the antiquing gel on in a straight grain fashion and then smoothing it a little where needed not to wipe away all the lines. Hope this helps! :)
