Hi, I heard that the top fuse power should be lower than the bottom fuse on the fuse tape order. In this case, 10A on top while 7.5A on the bottom of the fuse tape, does it still ok? Or should I get another 7.5A fuse on top and works with original 7.5A fuse? Thanks

@@nazarettos6987 Actually my package comes with two 10A fuse thats installed on the fuse tape alteady, so should I just remove the lower 10A, and install the 7.5A thats pull out from the car? Thanks

I have a 2012 bronze limited, I get alot of compliments most can't believe it's 12 years old I have 59k miles and holds value pretty good also, can still get over 10k if I wanted to sell it

@@briantrinh4838 yes you can leave those door speakers in place. If you start seeing big difference in sound quality, then you can always replace the door speakers in the future.

@@ricoflorez7129 its easy as long as you don’t do same mistake like I did. Make sure to attach small hose to the side of the drain and drain the fluid. Also when you fill the coolant NO ac or Heat on, keep RPM above 1500-2000

I just installed a similar unit in mine, and noticed that my interior/dome lights don’t work with the door anymore. And in the vehicle settings on the head unit, if I change any settings, they don’t save or do anything. Do you have any of these issues? (And if so, how/did you fix it?)

@@secondmindfilms7962 i noticed that on my head unit my car does not alert me when i lock the doors. It will not flash mirror and side marker when i lock it. I installed original radio back, went back to car setting and activated the setting again. Everything is good now. Just install old radio back and change back the settings.

We have a 2013 LE. Best car we have ever owned. At 170,000 miles it needs a little maintenance. I'll be doing the valve cover gasket as well as all of the related gaskets for the spark plug tubes, and sensors. New spark plugs.The rear brakes and rotors need replacing. For the valve cover job, I went ahead and purchased new electrical connectors for the coils. These are known to get very brittle with age. Overall, it has been a great car for us. We have owned a lot of Toyotas over the years. I was a VW guy back in the air-cooled engine days. I owned a few of their water-cooled models, but those did not hold up so well. It is the reliability of the Toyotas that has sold me ever since.

Remove the connection of the battery for 2min and replace it back that will do a auto reset to the computer and it will be good

These are under RECALL. I had to stop using mine it did run warm a few times I guess I’m lucky it didn’t get completely hot. Il miss using it but it’s not worth risking. I’m cutting the cables and getting the replacement they are providing to those like me involved in this recall.

I have a 2020 RAV4 Hybrid, I had everything functioning at first. the factory backup camera on bootup says change settings to panoramic also when I put in reverse i get a red power button to the left and the middle part of the screen looks like a CD changer screen. Just posting in case you encountered this or if anyone has. I have my camera plugged exactly like this and it worked omg. It was great I have no idea why it stopped working within the day. I honestly dont rely on backup camera but I would prefer to see that when shifting out of reverse than a CD changer screen lol. This radio has kinda thrown me off my civic and insight android radios never did this

@@nazarettos6987 Just playing with it some more. Yes I did that was a no go. I just got it to work. It will not work with camera set to Orginal factory camera on my 2020 Rav4 Hybrid. I had to change the camera settings from orginal factory camera to rear aftermarket, put it in reverse then the CD Disc screen disappeared and I had a Black screen with a little car. Then I had to hold the black screen and change to NTSC it was set to something else down on the list. Now its working. I was researching since yesterday this problem. Your video showed me I did hook it correctly. Its just not liking the settings the instructions said to use when setting up. So I am thinking I put it in reverse before I set all the settings the seller told me to use

With the OE headunit I use some android box called carlinkit, it transform the headunit into a tablet. I use my phone to made a wifi hotspot so the box can connect to it, and there you go you can navigate with real time info using the application of your choice, google map or waze.Maybe this works with you aftermarket unit.

I found this video very helpful. The Rear OEM speakers are Garbage... Reminded me of the 08 Yaris hatchback Rear OEM speakers.. I actually don't mind the Front OEM speakers; they are adequate for calm music or podcasts. I think I'm just going to Upgrade the Front and Swap the Front OEM speakers to the Rear location.. @@nazarettos6987 Jesse Rizo KZfaq channel, did a speaker upgrade on his Rav4 and he bought installation kits. He said he was going to trash the OEM speakers and many viewers got upset that he didn't hack up the OEM speakers and use them as Adapters, just like you did ... I guess you cannot win with some people in the KZfaq comment section...🤦🤦♀️🤦♀️. Anyway have a good one. Thanks 👍

A more permanent solution is to put those stainless washers on either side of the heat shield. The best way is to fully remove the heat shield you can actually slide it out without removing anything else. Once it's out you can take and washer each of the mounting holes because those will fail as well down the road. Use some quickset JB weld and put some onto the backsides of the washers and press them together with the heat shield sandwiched between them. Do this on each of the holes. Once the JB weld has set then slide the heat shield back into place and secure it. I've done this on my last two Venzas and never had to touch it again. Don't forget about the rear heatshield above the muffler as well.

I got one of these units. The button issues you mention happen to a lot of us. I am getting a second unit as the first unit I used, the arrow buttons on my wheel are backwards and my speakers will constantly cut in and out depending on the cables position behind the unit. Other reviews state the same thing on Amazon. Also the radio connection is horrible. If my second unit has issues I will be returning them both and going with a different brand.
