If someone responds me and knows about this it will really be helful. So i will buy a hamster and at the pet store there are some syrians hamsters at the same cage +a roborovski .It is really small and cute but i ve noticed that they always at one corner not moving.Maybe it is scared of others?Or...is it sick?The syrians are very active as well...

Are you talking about the pet store hamsters? Because if so it is scared, hamsters shouldn't be together, let alone the smallest hamster and the rest of them the largest hamsters, if you can you should adopt it ( if you're allowed, have good knowledge and can care for it and want it) definitely fear and territorial behaviour

hiii!! I have a russian dwarf hamster too, but he let me pet, or touch him. I tried many techniques, and i've been trying for over 5 months now... do you have any tips that you have?

Pop him into a cup or glass and get in the bath tub and let him just crawl all over you so he gets used to your scent also otherthings is hand feeding him treats and gradually move the treats up the palm of your hands so he has to climb onto your hand to get the treats

I have two Russian dwarf hamsters, one of them is going crazy and is biting the cage. I tried calming it down, but it wouldn't stop. I am afraid it might be stressed due to the enclosure size. is the zolux rody dou too small? i need help:/pls

Hi. As long they have wheels, from time to time letting them have a walk outside their cage, they will seldom bite cages due to boredom.

Are both hamsters together in 1 cage then one of them may be stressed.. Ive also read size of cage needs to be 80 cm or 1 m lenght minimum for 1 hamster irregardless of the type it is.. I am upgrading our dwarf to a diy bin soon.. his cage is not big enough but he is only 12 weeks atm..

Throw away that "new home" and do some research how to care for an animal before buying shit. Sorry for being unfriendly but seeing animals being abused over and over again is starting to eat at my friendlyness. Look up RIGHT Hamster care. Vanilla Hamham, Somethings Animals, Victoria Rachel and Munchie's Place (and others) are great chanels to get educated about hamstercare. And even better then that: look up German hamster standards, they have the best and the fairest in the world at the moment.
